        Emargo on manager quotes.

Pedro needs to learn the Brighton way, Ferguson has been there a year and has it.

We knew Ferguson was starting according to the manager and he still dropped in price last night.

That went for me with their obsessive coverage of Farage in the lead up to the Brexit vote, although I'd pretty much lost faith when they insisted on interviewing any scientist warning about climate change with a dark-money paid shill to obfuscate.

This is where 'balance' is such a double edged sword. It's definitely better to have it, but not when it means having an expert having to debate an idiot.

Right, and let me stick my neck out - given the huge 'power' of the BBC, its partiality during the referendum campaign did enough to swing the vote to 'Leave'. It had caused enormous damage to the nation.

I think the remain campaign has to take a lot of the blame personally. It was a joke at best. All it really needed to do was report facts. Everything the leave campaign was saying was a lie. An easily provable lie.

I don't agree, but that's a separate matter. The point is the BBC did not give even coverage to the campaign, choosing to favour the most extreme pro-Brexit elements, which went against its charter.

Okay, but in a football forum, I'm sure you remember Linekar being silenced for offending an extreme Tory political policy. They had no business intervening in that.

It's not in the best place currently that's for sure. But it really gets my back up when I hear people calling the BBC propaganda. It's usually followed by some nonsense conspiracy of some sort.

'propaganda' is too emotive a word. But its chairman is selected for conservative party loyalty; it serves the party and not the nation.

Maddison listening to David Gilmour's "there's no way out of here" and realizing how we're all trapped in here.

    Hattie incoming.

Good to see they're having a friendly kickabout anyway even if the points don't count. A sign of footballers who love what they do

Proud of the commentator who has realised that boom mics "seem to amplify the noise"

Not surprisingly Maddison does not look fully fit to me.

If the injury is that bad you leave on crutches can you be fit again in a week? Unless they are just doing that for incredibly minor injuries now. Spurs know the suck without him

That should be a foul and even a booking

There’s a reason you can’t play the man in the air in rugby, it’s dangerous
