Not much to pick from at that price range, much better value at 5.5m if you can stretch your budget

Again not under 5m, but Kolesho has been impressive for Burnley only 5m - could be a good call setting up for dgw7

    All go Alvarez ...

the Man City players were back training a day earlier than Liverpool it seems.

Maybe Liverpool wanted a Thursday rest day with the early kick off for recovery time?

So with Darwin being “fine” is it time to sell Jota? Or keep for the Wolves game and hope Darwin isn’t ‘fine’ enough to get the start?

Sell. The midfield spots are too valuable for you to pick a real rotation risk.

Still think he starts actually. "Should be fine... haven't seen him yet" isn't quite so conclusive plus he could also start LW

the full quote is that Klopp has 1 or 2 decisions to make.

i'm 90% certain Nunez is benched.

but does no Nunez mean that Jota starts?

I think that team news for Palace is quite significant. Guehi and Lerma would be big misses, Villa have looked good when they've looked good and very bad the rest. I can see the former this weekend. Watkins looked a certain departure for me but he might just remain now.

    What would u do?

    Turner (Pickford)
    Chilwell Saliba Estupi (Shaw, Baldock)
    Salah Saka Mbuemo Mitoma (Nakamba)
    Haaland Alvarez Jackson

    2FT

    a) Mbuemo, Shaw -> Madd, Andersen
    b) Nakamba, Shaw -> Sarr, 5.3m def (Udogie etc.)
    c) Nakamba, Shaw -> Andreas, Andersen

Problem is that Mbuemo and Mitoma have good fixtures next gw and Spurs next gw-s are against Arsenal and Liverpool.

Awoniyi fun facts: Following on from last season, he's currently on an 8-game streak of attacking returns in the Premier League. (9 Goals 1 Assist) - Five of those eight games were against Chelsea (twice) Arsenal (twice) and Man United. This weekend he's up against a Burnley side who have conceded 11 in 3.

The only real question for myself is.... will I have high enough testosterone levels to captain him this weekend.

    1. The Iceman
      • 4 Years
      3 years, 3 days ago

I fancy him to score but captaincy is one step too far I think.

      1. BIind Moth
        • 9 Years
        3 years, 3 days ago

He did pick up a couple of braces in those last 8 games I mentioned, but you're right, his ceiling is usually low. I think it's more Burnley who are tempting me to captain him. Kompany doesn't seem like the type of manager to change his style of play. From his POV he will see this fixture as a must win so I'm expecting an open game personally!

he's a brilliant pick but is he a goal a game guy...

    3. Camzy
      • 16 Years
      3 years, 3 days ago

He feels like a 7 point captain. That's not what I'm looking for.

But nice stats and Awoniyi is indeed a pretty good pick.

    4. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years
      3 years, 3 days ago

I like him but I just don't know how long his run can go on. His conversion rate was ridiculous and when you look at even just his last 2 returns I don't know how realistic it is that he's going to continue to get to pounce on turnovers from defensive errors

    5. F4L
      • 11 Years
      3 years, 3 days ago

important thing is forest should only improve as a team now with the squad they've assembled, give awoniyi more chances as his conversion rate from that run is unsustainable

Don't know... I wouldn't mind changing GKs, thinning Chelsea attack, sorting out that defence (only 2 starters there now), ditching Bruno. But I guess you could get by with Emerson - Porro/Udogie

Funnily enough, I have already made that move to Udogie.

I will transfer Onana > Areola, but not before we play Man C!

Jackson and Sterling are on the chop block, for sure. Not sure who I would get up front for -4 though, maybe Alvarez, but he has a good chance to be rested/reduced mins.

North London Derby is generally full of goals and Arsenal have just one clean sheet so far. Liverpool also only have one clean sheet and their games against Spurs also tend to have goals in them. Spurs have also scored 11 in 4. No reason to think these will be really tight games in my opinion
