Spurs genuinely have a hot at the title IMO. City and Pool dropping needless points. Arsenal looking good however.

The lack of domestic and European cup competitions could be massive for them if they can keep up their firm

No, Spurs will not challenge for the league. Ange might make them do that in the future but not now

If I was Ange, I wouldn't set it as a target, I'd just set top 4 as a target.

Neither spurs or arsenal will win it. They haven’t got the bottle to last

We saw that with arsenal last season, fans going on as if they won it in march and then bottled it

Arsenal have a history of bottling and spurs will eventually show them true selves

City or Liverpool for me. 2 teams who have the winning mentality

      1. have you seen cyan

Spurs might be moving away from doing Spursy things, there's been some occasions already this season where Spurs actually won when they would have thrown it away previously. Its probably still lingering, but I see less of that so far. But yea\, we haven't seen many key games.

History of bottling? We're not Spurs. No-one expected us to even make top 4 last season. Was the youngest team in the league last season and were in the race until the final 3 games. The team is maturing and will only keep getting better

History of bottling usually implies more than 2 occasions. 2 occasions where we had the youngest team in the league

Age is an easy excuse & the club as a whole, does undeniably have a recent history of bottling

Think there's arguments for all 3 of Haaland, Salah and Son
Even Tripper feels a left field shout and wouldn't be surprised to see the MUN boys finally do something

this is why some season I give up on fantasy, international breaks.... If I have a bad rank, and IB's keep coming, I just switch off sometimes and don't get back into it. I will still watch football etc, but give up on fantasy.

I am sure some people live the IB's, but honestly I think they suck, there is far too many, and they absolutely kill momentum and form. Let alone the injuries the PL clubs have to deal with as a result.

benched Turner and Gabriel but got 2s and 3s from the Villa boys and Man City attack.

Still got 62 with a Son captain so be it.

Haaland is too expensive to sit on the bench.
And when you own him, you will always be tempted to captain him.

Key problem. No Gündo, no Mahrez, and KDB injured.
And teams know now how to take him out.

He should have way more than 8 goals by now. I've seen enough he's out this week.

But please perma captain him as long as you want and get used to red arrows.

Why was he taken off at 67 though. They needed a goal and he was hooked. Plus injured players slowly coming back plus UCL going into 4th gear means I am a bit worried too

Was he injured today and hence taken off?

Pep either had a brain fart and thought he should rest him or thought he could change the game taking him off.

Pep said rest when asked about the subs. Alvarez not that suited to games of this type, and he's played a lot and have long travel to South America.
Brighton game he is s little bit of risk, but I think he starts as he knows the system better than most of the newcomers. And they will need against Brighton which can hurt City if they aren't tight.

Any credence to the claim that because Kane left the PL, Haaland doesnt feel pressured to win the golden boot, and is potentially not trying as hard as he would, if Kane was in contention?

I think Haaland is a professional, and this kind of logic should not enter his mind. But subconsciously, it may. You know, complacency.

Or has Haaland just been unlucky? The chances and shots are there, its the conversion.

The more Haaland scores the more he does his Buddha pose celebration. The more he emulates Buddha the more he realises personal glory is trivial. Something that FPL Andy didn't consider...the casual.

Its been going for a while. I'd argue that haaland has been a failed captain punt 6/8 times this season. 6 points for 14mil is not a caption win in my book, so I count them as fails.

It doesnt really concern me, because he stays in my team regardless, but yea.

My actual team, only Salah returned. 1 pointers galore too, barely scraped 30 points.
