    For WC GW10,which combination?

    A)3-4-3 TAA/Trippier/Son and Isak
    B)3-5-2 TAA/Trippier/Son and Diaby
    C)3-4-3 Cash/Estupinan/Diaby and Haaland

Do we see Richarlison keeping his spot on the team or do we think Johnson will replace him next game?

Personally I thought he Richarlison was unlucky not to score last game and had loads of chances, maybe that could be the reason he gets dropped or keeps his spot, what do we think?

He was certainly lively, if a bit wasteful. Beginning to wonder if both might start given how Son is looking today

not sure missing an open goal counts as unlucky. Owners were unlucky he didn't score. He wasn't.

      I think he'll start.

Helps that the game is on Monday night to allow him a couple of extra days coming back from South America.

Johnson is coming back from an injury and may or may not be available for this week anyway.

Lots worried about Son and his fitness when he is only playing Monday.

I remember having FOMO and bringing him in for Diaz but then Son blanked GW5. Brace vs Arsenal followed, scored vs LFC and then 3 pointer vs Luton who are a bugger of a team when they are at home. There is also mention of Son's minutes but Ange has been subbing Maddison as well. The double up is not great either when both are not getting 90 minutes at the moment.

As long as Son is still playing striker I would not be in a rush to get rid tbh.

Saturday / Monday isn't really the issue since we're talking about an injury, not just travel & recovery time. I love the double up personally & don't want to sell but just trying to realistically evaluate how this will impact both his mins & performances

        • 4 Years

Maddison hasn't been 100% in recent weeks either; hence the subbings. But Ange has been pretty helpful indicating both the issues & the likelihood of them starting

I haven't owned him this year. Have Mads though. I think he's a good pick but can't have them all and less worried about him compared to Salah, etc...

Think it's a bit different between him and Maddison. I think Maddison is being managed where possible (probably given he has had history in the past with injuries) and has been training normally, Son hasn't trained for a full week for 2-3 weeks now and has been getting subbed because he's been dealing with a specific issue for a while. Maddison has played 85+ mins in 3 of the last 5, Son hasn't played 80+ mins since GW3

I couldn't bring myself to bench Bowen but I do agree that Newscastle home to an Injury ridden CPL is the best fixture.

I'd find it very tough to bench Bowen in a game that should suit players like him very well. Burn's fixture is good too of course but I think his ceiling is low enough in a game like that

Seems like bad business to buy your future striker in the summer window just to drop more $ on a striker in the winter window. Why would Newcastle want to sell? Going to the knockout stages of the champions league and playing well in the league.

Why would it be great for FPL?

Would clearly be a fantastic signing for Man Utd, but it would be a step backwards for the player and no chance Newcastle would sell anyway.

Wait for Liverpool early team news. If Diaz not starting easy bench option. If Alvarez plays full game tonight see what Pep says as could also be benched. If both look like starting then would probably bench Diaby- and would play double Newcastle defence.

Hazard is one of the players I do miss in FPL. Was so reliable as captain when Chelsea had a favourable home fixture. Often would be a differential captain too, unlike the 86% owned Haaland these days.

Haaland's points per game record at home makes this a no-brainer. City vs Brighton will see plenty of goals. Add in Salah has the early kick-off and Haaland ownership and it is extremely hard to go against.
