Bowens move up top to accommodate Kudus will result in a major drop off in form...

Played there in a Euro game...

Doesn't strike me as a Cf, small/pacy/likes to cut in, not an Antonio type holding ball up etc

    Heya. Transfer ideas?
    2 FT & 0.2m ITB.

    Areola
    Trippier Cash Udogie
    Salah Son Maddison Diaby JWP
    Haaland Alvarez
    Leno // Taylor Archer Kabore

    A) Alvarez/JWP > Watkins/Palmer (+0.1m)
    B) Archer/Son > Watkins/Palmer (+0.9m)
    C) Archer/Son > Watkins/Gordon (+0.2m)
    D) Something else.

Tricky one as Alvarez hasn't necessarily warrented selling. MUN & BOU next, but Watkins is a killer.

With B, Maddison can become Saka the following week - but it's missing out on a good player or so either way!

I think replacing Son with Watkins is a good shout, but I suspect after that you'll be wanting to upgrade the midfield. Although Gordon is a good pick, I don't see much point in having 8 attackers and three of them being Diaby/JWP/Gordon. C) would allow you to make a move from JWP to Mitoma and Maddy to Saka in the coming weeks (I think).

Anyone out there playing Sky or Telegraph FF ?
Spurs are about play 2 games when nobody else does
    Tonight & again on Friday
After that you can take their players out & replace them for the next 2 games for any other team before they play again .
You then get 2 more back to back games for Spurs when nobody plays on 6th Nov & 1st game on 11th .
If you're already starting with Spurs players you get .
8 games per position over 4 rounds of fixtures at a cost of just 3 transfers per player .

yeah, in Sky for my main team, i will be selling TAA for Maddison, i already have Son, i might then get Tsimikas instead of TAA by selling Foster onSunday, then eventually sell Tsimikas for Hwang when his captaincy day comes around

Yeah I'm getting Son and Romero for this evening (Wissa and Disasi out). The difference is I intend to keep them until the wildcard. Might re-up on those extra dates you mentioned, but probably not. Sky game here.

The team I support once fielded an all black 11 and nobody I knew as a fan batted an eyelid. Why would we, why do people even care or ponder about someone's skin colour? We all belong to one race...human.

ridiculous, Arsenal are already one of the most diverse clubs and fan bases, i seriously doubt having an all white womens team is anything other than buying the best players available that just happen to be white

They do this in loads of places I have worked in the past. It’s worrying. They were literally turning down perfect candidates for jobs and instead giving the job to someone with not even half the experience or qualifications just because of their sex, age, ethnicity or disability.

I won’t say where I was working, but it was for the UK government.

Likely noticed by those who see colour first

We should see people for humans not determined by colour. When I see a game the first thing I look at is the ability of the player and what good things they do. Those people who want to complain will see the team as too white or not enough white or whatever. Their primary focus is colour which in itself is quite worrying

You shouldn’t have to apologise and look to accommodate people just to make others happy. That’s just totally wrong. Is there a problem of racism, yes but these types of things are just clouding the actual problem with nonsence

The authorities have shown they are not serious about tackling racism, they have not tackled the the actual issues in the right manner. These lie deep beneath the surface, instead they try to temporarily please people with token gestures to keep people quiet (it’s easy and requires little work and shows they “care”)

Very nicely put. Rupert the Horse is also in love with Black Beauty I neigh. Not enough grays in the Grand National either.

Its farcical. I was proud when Palace was the first team to have 10 black outfield players when Richards came in for the injured Andersen and Clyne for Ward, just to see how far the game has come. (Guaita was in goal).

Vince Hilaire was a hero of mine at 7 or 8 . I didn't realize how difficult it must have been as a 7-year-old, as Demba Ba says. Kids never see colour or race as a problem. I was just amazed at his trickery and skill

Positive is as bad as negative discrimination.

We can’t have them all. I do think it’s important to note though I have Burn and he got 6 points at the weekend. Trippier got 10. Four points more is a lot but I am not sure the net gain, if I have to rip my amazing midfield up to get him, would be worth the extra 2.5m

          Diaby (44)

Hi all. Wildcarded into gw8 and have 2 ft and 0.0 itb. Despite unexceptional totals in the last 2 weeks, I’m tempted to burn a transfer. Any better ideas?

    Areola Turner
    Cash Udogie Trippier Guehi Taylor
    Salah Son Bowen Diaby Neto
    Haaland Alvarez Archer.

I already wildcarded, but here’s a wildcard team that fits in almost all popular players:

    Areo
    Tsmikas - Trippier - Lascelles
    Salah - Son - Saka - Maddison - Palmer
    Haaland - Watkins

    Stakosha, Taylor, Lamptey, Mubama

It’s not too bad imo, you can rotate Palmer and the defense. Or if you downgrade Maddison to Bowen you can get some more cash.

He does look good but his minutes are a concern. I’m currently on Luiz. But maybe I go to Palmer after him.

Focal point, played up front, on pens.....likely to be involved in any Che goals regardless of fixtures, who just put two one of leagues best defences

It’s going to be very interesting to see how many Arsenal players are transferred in if Spurs and particularly Son and Maddison excel tonight

Saka will be bought regardless, but Martinelli will become very popular if Spurs flop

I am shocked the amount of people that have brought Tsimikis in. I’m a Liverpool fan and can honestly say he’s a seriously bad player. Pool aren’t know for their clean sheets either

If Robbo was not injured, would have kept him.

He's 4.4 and got a clean sheet straight away (albeit only just making the 60). Took some set pieces in the game too. What's not to like really. It's not like he's Robertson's price.

Yeh fair enough. Was 4.4 going into the last game.

what's not to like is that he won;t start any game once Klopp realises he can't depend on him which he can't. Granted for 4.5 he's prob worth a punt but he's a poor poor player and if he got whipped in the 59th minute instead of the 62nd then it's a 1 pointer. I can see him coming off at HT in games, i rate him so lowly

I hear what you're saying but we're talking about a defender who was 4.4 just a few days ago. What other defender for that price would you pick ahead of him? He's an enabler too. Doesn't even need to be your first choice. And we don't actually know yet if he'll start most games or not. Just cos you don't rate him doesn't make him a bad FPL player.

Doesn't make him a bad FPL player though. Non-owner here...

non-owner also and if he was guarenteed to play every week then yes at 4.5m he's worth a punt. I just don't think Klopp trusts him and can see him getting 45mins or left out a lot. He was shocking v Everton.

Then it makes sense yes. Dont know enough about football. Just think that being on some corners in that team at that price it makes sense.
Don't have a place for him righr now in my team anyway, but don't want to be that guy that misses our on 40 odd points over the next 6 gws, IF that looks like happening

maybe but for 0.2m more I think Gabriel for Arsenal is a much better pick

Saturday was really good but yesterday was really bad for my team and very good for others - a double whammy. What's going to happen tonight (Spurs x 3) ..... probably a damp squib.

    Any predictions? I'll start:
    2-1

Been seeing a few midfielders at less than 4.9 with good form. Who would you target?

    A) Palmer vs. BRE, TOT, MCI
    B) Longstaff vs. WOL, ARS, BOU
    C) Soucek vs. EVE, BRE, NEW
    D) others?
