Our Members Videos continue with another installment ahead of the Gameweek 11 deadline.

This week, it’s a Wildcard special as David Munday examines the best plan for those still in possession of the chip.

There is, of course, a specific focus on Blank Gameweek 18 and how to factor that into Wildcard plans, with Gameweeks 16 and 19 the two most attractive windows of opportunity.

David uses the Season Ticker and the tools available at PlanFPL.com to work out if he can use free transfers to put off the Wildcard between now and later in the campaign.

The video is available to watch via the embedded link below.

There was also a live Q&A earlier today if you’re in the mood for more visual offerings, plus a whole host of other content in the Gameweek 11 playlist.

How much money do you think Betway pay FFS to shoot at the fish in the barrel?

    Archer & Bowen > Darwin & McAtee (-4)?

Not too keen for a hit but do like the like of Darwin vs Luton

It might just be too late for Darwin to take -4 with Diaz back in training and likely to threaten Nunez's mins as of next week. If you're willing to take that risk, then go for it

Now that Isak is ruled out, what would you do?

    A. Play Wilson. Save FT.
    B. Wilson -> Alvarez
    C. Burn -> Tsimikas
    D. Archer -> Alvarez and develop a benching headache (can do for free btw). Bench Wilson.

    1. Boberella
      • 9 Years

Wilson for a rest mid week yeah? I’d play him if so, although D would be a good move this week for the Alvarez upside.

There is this talk about Newcastle's fixtures being tough?

    ARS (H), BOU (A), CHE (H), MUN (H), EVE (A), TOT (A), FUL (H), LUT (A)

6 out of 8 are winnable.

      1. Majority of players are concerned with clean sheets rather than wins (trippier owners).

      2. If you take the last 2 games out, (6 games in total) I can see maybe 2 clean sheets out of those. Those would be Bournemouth + Everton, which are both away mind you.

8 games is too far ahead. That’s until GW19 (Xmas).

      1. FOO FIGHTER
        • 6 Years

Trippier is the best defender in the game. He can get bonus even if Newcastle lose.

Add into the mix Europe, cup games, small squad and injuries then yes they are tough fixtures. The defence will concede in most

    Worth fielding Lamptey over Taylor?

It seems that Lamptey's floor is 1-2 or no show with a ceiling that might be substantial, vs Taylor's highly likely score of 1-2.

Which seems better? Have 2 FTs.
A: Start Diaz and do Udog -> Tsimikas and roll one FT
B: Diaz -> Jota and start Taylor and roll one FT
    C: Diaz + Udog -> Jota + Tsimikas

I see a baffling number of posts about Taylor. Is this evidence of influence of content creators, group think, or individual logic?
Or did you all get him on a WC as an enabler?

I have stopped watching FPL content. It has become so bad. It feels like you are either sitting in your first day of grade one or having to be forced to watch something you don't want to.

I don't know what needs to happen for things to change when it comes to FPL content but I am happy to not be wasting hours watching any.

Everyone got him as an enabler and given some top teams are playing eachother this week there will always be the classic play the fixtures or the player discussion, not surprising IMO

    4. FPLEL
      • 11 Years

Literally only got him in for a nailed 3.9, perma bench fodder on WC. Bringing him in at any other time or for any other reason is a bad move.

He’s 3.9 and nailed and Burnley have decent fixtures so a good enabler. Don’t need content creators to tell you that

I'm experiencing extreme fomo without Haaland. To get to him, who would you do without:
    1 - Son
    2 - Trippier
And would Haaland replace Alvarez or Watkins? It would cost -4pts.

Areola, Cash, Burn, Mitchell, Bowen, Salah, Son, Diaz, Watkins, Haaland, Nunez (Turner, Maddison, Trippier, Gabriel)

Alternative option 3 of Diaz => Jota means I'll keep 2ft for next week & double down on my No Haaland gw8 WC

I wouldn't do it, and I have Bowen. 5 of his next 7 games all rank 2 on fixture ticker

Goodness no, why? Bowen has scored in every away game so far and has Burnley coming up too. Mbeumo's next few fixtures are far from ideal and his returns have all come against poor teams (plus Spurs GW1)

    Start Gordon or Saka?

Gordon at home, has shown some good form and could play no 9.

Saka away from home, has not shown the best of form, giving away penalties and who knows what team Arteta puts out this GW. Plus with Jesus out and Nketiah playing, it seems to hamper their other attacking assets.

They literally just scored 5 goals with Eddie playing and Saka got an assist, how on Earth have you come to the conclusion that Saka or other attacking assets are hampered by Eddie playing.

I don’t own any arsenal and have trippier, so I am very much hoping for a Newcastle home win. Could be wishful thinking though.
Wilson should start up top but gordon could always pop up with something. I don’t think there’ll be more than a goal or two.

Newcastle's reserves team walloped UTD at old toilet.

Trippier is too expensive as a defender but that is based on your team structure. I am happy to keep him irrespective of who they play.

Newcastle winning a cup game vs a poor UTD has no relevance with your assessment that with Eddie playing Arsenal attackers are hampered

LOL. He just braced at old Trafford. He's fixture proof and you can not play this game without him

We are worse at the back and as a team at the moment, so that haul shouldn't count really imo
