Don’t get me wrong. i wish I had Darwin for today’s fixture vs Luton and also for Brentford next week and Fulham in 14.

But the early kick off in GW13, away at Man City, after an international break where Uruguay play 4 days before…

I feel I have missed the boat.

Meanwhile why are people looking to jump off Alvarez when Haaland may be out? Seems mad to me. Couple of quiet games but is he suddenly that bad? Tough fixtures maybe

First time ever, ever, ever i could really burn a FT.
I have a few targets...but none are better than what i have for this gw

    Aréola
    Cash, tsimikas, Gabriel
    Salah, Son, saka, bowen, diaby
    Darwin, watkins

    Álvarez, guehi, Taylor

Brighton mid? Third arsenal? Newcastle def?

Nothing moves the needle for me

This season is not about a static team even though it looks good ... it's about chasing the upside and frisking the fixtures

Luton & Sheff Utd should be targeted, plus a few others. Man Utd & Brighton play these two teams and you don't have any players in those games.

Newcastle play Bouremouth too and no Trippier.

Plus you could sell anyone on your bench for some one that is rising in price.

Open your mind young padawan 🙂

Was so thrilled when I saw on livescore city have won 6-1 as a triple city attack owner only to be heavily dissapointed when I checked my fantasy team. 10 points from 3 including captain, ouch.

I got involved in a bit of business after the games had started yesterday and I didn't know the results until well after the games had finished. Well, being a non-Haaland owner, you can imagine the chill that ran through my bones (and my bowels) when I saw 6-1. After last weeks trauma at Old Trafford, I decided there and then that I was deleting my team and not looking at fantasy football again for a very long time. After eventually plucking up the courage to see who scored and assisted (I didn't know Haaland had came off at this point) I thought for a few fleeting moments that I was a clever, astute shrewdie who had finally mastered this game until I realised that I had dodged a hail of bullets.

I don't think I'll ever have Haaland in my team again. It was the most exciting thing that's happened to me in fantasy football for a very long time! 😀

I wouldn't touch an Arse before Karen Arteta starts reinventing his tactics.

Saka quite limited when doubled and without Ode support.Other managers seemed ro have figured how to take him.out.

Besides, Nketiah remains a trap and the shuffling around of defenders and goalkeepers didn't really help.

The only player I would consider is Trossard in case he didgets some.more minutes regularly.

Haaland (c), Alvarez and Saka 2 points each.

Up to 18 points with Andersen and Gordon so I should take that but a booking each must have cost bonus points and meant Trippier et al got 3 bonus points for Newcastle.

A splitting hairs weekend so far.

arteta clearly letting pride in the way when it comes to raya now. he's making a blunder every game but because Mikel is cut from peps cloth and thought he'd look really smart with his version of harte and ederson he wont go back on it now and admit the team is worse with him in it. and its effecting everyone at the backs form. they have no confidence in him. he has to get ramsdale back in and just accepts that right now raya cant play the way he wants him to

          fair enough.

I thought the argument was he was contributing more to Arsenal building play, despite the errors.

He's had some howlers for sure. He's starting because of how he plays out from the back not because he's a better shot stopper than Ramsdale, he isn't, very few are. Raya is better than he's shown so far though just needs to hit his stride and get his confidence

not taking anything away, he's clearly a good player but nketiah steam rollered sheffield utd last week and didnt get a sniff last night. in fpl terms thousands will transfer Doku in and he could easily get only 3 mins v chelsea. pep might think grealish more suited to the game.it was a class performance but bouremouth are dreadful and worse than when oneill was in charge. that has to be taken into account

Everton, who drew with Sheffield Utd and lost at home to Luton, stuffed Bournemouth 3-0. Bournemouth are one of the very worst sides in the league defensively. They handed Arsenal at least 3 of their 4 goals against them. I'm sure Doku was good yesterday and he's been good in other games too, but this just isn't a game to read much into

Gabriel to White feels v sideways. Gabriel a season keeper for me if he stays fit. Alvarez to Darwin or Nketieh and or Saka to Doku are both tempting

You’re probably right. I’m just nervous of another Gabriel benching for an ‘easy’ game - think White is slightly more nailed and more attacking threat and I have £1.5m ITB with no other current plans for it.

Not sure I’d go Saka to Doku yet - I think if you have Saka you have to give him the next game at least

Arteta messing with the Arenal keeper position costing them points. Needs to stop whinging/whining and start managing

Put your hand up now, how good was Doku yesterday???

Unforyunately it is Pep but based on the eye test, Grealish won't be able to polish Doku's boots.

Grealish will probably start the more difficult fixtures for ‘control’

He was brilliant. Been very good so far and that was his best performance yet. I don't expect him to start every game though. Pep has four very different wide options and will use them all based on opposition and tactics

Yes, correct. That is the problem with City assets. You pick Foden, gets benched. You pick Doku after an outstanding performance and next GW is benched. Same old same old but saying that, Doku has played quite a bit of minutes so far, I may get him in. Have a deep enough squad so worth the risk.

Can’t see many moves here, maybe Alvarez/Haaland to Nketiah/Wilson depending on the fitness news?

Wilson or Nunez if Haaland won’t be fit, or Alvarez to Nketiah otherwise

Yes, I think these are the options if no decent 5th mid. I have 5 decent mids (barring further injuries this GW) so may roll for 2tf in GW13.

"ok kai your main job today is go in two footed on someone, hope VAR botch the decison and then hope the opposition get loads of their players booked complaining to the ref. other than that just swan around the pitch looking like the ghost of a victorian child doing nothing in particular"

All I see is if Arsenal are infrastructure tje players role around.

I didn't see Arteta moan about his penalty against Palace which was on the naked eye a pen as Johnstone bought down Nketiah. But VAR looked at the foul Party did on Lerma who was marking Nketiah and pulled him back.

Did see him say he got lucky there, just moaned about the two yellows for time wasting for Tomy after havertz and Ramsdale were time-wasting before that.

He is a bit of a Karen

(PS I only talk about a Palace incident as thesevare the 90 minutes games I can see live)

Was relieved when I saw him on the teamsheet rather than Odegaard. Havertz and the Newcastle players have history ever since he got away with elbowing Burn while at Chelsea and then the melee at the end of the return fixture that season where he was targeted.

The Sheffield United penalty yesterday did look a bit soft but I didn't like the narrative of the MOTD pundits (and its the same most weeks) piling in on the officials. We've got a massive problem in the country with struggling for officials at grassroots level and it will eventually filter into the professional system and we'll probably have to look at incentivising officials from other countries over here to fill the gap. It wasn't a clear and obvious error from the ref, the Wolves lad was stupid for not just standing his ground and they should be pulling him up on that rather focusing on the officials.

This is the problem with VAR. It was brought in to eradicate mistakes, but so many decisions in football are subjective.

Guehi or Mitchell. Does matter both on first team XI. Guehi is the better player and goes up for set pieces. That his weakness, but strong at them defensively now

Will be England Centre back after this European tournament
