      Not sure, but Son is explosive. Bowen is not, but the price differences probably makes that level out. Not much in it IMO, based on the price difference. I'd prefer Son, but not sure I would.

    Important question time.

    Who is behind deciding actual FPL price changes? Is he/she not at an advantage to other FPL managers by knowing the changes before they happen unlike everyone else. And who do the people who decide the price changes tell before they change the prices? How many other people are they also putting at an advantage by letting them know the price changes before they happen.

    Think this is quite a reasonable question.

                      for sure he was paid and had a contract, just not a direct employee. My understanding of how competitions work etc, is the direct employees should not be able to enter, for common sense reasons you have pointed out. I don't see how Mark would have had access to secret info (so I don't think it would apply to him). All he did right was appear on videos talking about picks.

                        How do we know these people aren’t playing FPL when nobody in the public knows who they are? FPL aren’t being transparent about things which leaves the debate open as to why they’re not being transparent and I the possible that there may be something fishy going on.

      I think price changes are done by computer for sure. But, I think they manually override on occasions, for reasons unknown. Possibly, to stop anyone working out the algo. I am 100% sure they manually interfere, quite often.

          As I said above, there are prizes in FPL. Logic would dictate that anyone who works for FPL cannot play the game or be eligible for prizes. This is just a standard thing with any time of competition or lottery, they ofc would have unfair advantages.

          That said, I doubt its really policed and I am sure they will have secret accounts some of them.

    My alternative FPL game rule differences:

    1. Assists only awarded to players who receive an official Opta assist - removes all ambiguity and potential for cheating.

    2. Price changes are communicated with the public 2 hours before they happen. Stops certain players being at an advantage and knowing about future price changes and not other people.

    3. No bonus points. The bonus points system no longer exists - it cannot be manipulated by a group of elites to suit their needs.

      2. My suggestion: Price changes would happen immediately after first kickoff / after FPL deadline and there would be clear communication.

      3. A bonus system should exist. My suggestion: 3 for official Motm and then 2 and 1 according to current system.
