People mentioning Haaland to Darwin really baffles me, and I even own him since WC gw10.
Im not even sure he will start, let alone score a goal without getting offside...

Logically, yes. But we all know how the FPL cycle goes sometimes.

A promising but inconsistent asset has a good run of fixtures ahead of him -> people get him in droves -> the asset typically flops -> people sell him in bulk ahead of a harder run of games -> the now-differential asset turns in a performance for the ages, leaving his past owners immeasurably frustrated.

It is that sense of intuition about the weirdness of this game that's tending certain people to posit suggestions that go against the grain, in a way

Have Watkins and Solanke. Newcastle has the best fixtures in 17, 18 and 19. But who between Isak and Wilson as the Haaland replacement?

I probably wouldn't buy either unless one is confirmed out through injury/suspension, etc.

Trippier and/or Gordon is enough imo.

Why does the article start 'As over 8.8 million Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be aware'? There are nearly 10.5m teams entered. So where does the 8.8m come from. Is that

    A) managers still active (excluding dead teams)
    B) excluding those who have entered more than one team to win the weekly prizes, manager of the month, or to get off to a good start in GW1
    C) Somewhere else

but as they are through the can utilise the squad and go back to false 9s etc...

at least I think they've qualified.

I lose interest in the pre Christmas European games unless there's am edge like in Newcastle United v AC Milan tomorrow night.

That will be tasty in and around the Bigg Market beforehand and afterwards I'm sure.

Assuming we are unsure by the deadline whether Areola or Dubravka are fit is it worth an additional to replace one with playing keeper or just accept a 0 pointer with issues elsewhere to deal with? I would probably get Leno or Neto.

I think the main Haaland question isn't keep/sell/etc is he's confirmed out - it's what to do in the likely case his availability is unclear.

Isn't that exactly what's going on and people are holding on, but I suspect that erodes across the week.

anyhow... each to their own. I'm going to try to ignore it for now.

I've made my choice and I could be burnt come Saturday at 2pm but essentially a non active Haaland suits me.

albeit I wouldn't mind some more transfer activity!!

Already moved Guehi to Porrro. Nketiah to Solanke would mean cannot afford getting Watkins for Darwin next week without losing Haaland that week . Would you go

A Nketiah to Raul Jiminez and bench Haaland ( leaves me enough cash to go Darwin to Watkins for 18)
B Haaland to Solanke and plenty money for Darwin to Watkins.
C Nketiah to Solanke and go Haaland to Watkins in 18

Goalkeeper possible issue ignoring for now!!
