Contemplated him on WC but feels like too many things are keeping me away. Mbeumo and Schade injured, Wissa heading to AFCON, and Brentford in pretty terrible form

    Estupinan or Moreno?

    1. Count of Monte Hristo

These are my choices when I sell Gvardiol next week. I really like both options. Moreno short term but Digne out for a month and can easily claim the LB spot in that time. Estupiñian has great fixtures but been out for a while and that can often mean picking up niggling injuries.

Estupinan is a great attacking fullback. Brighton seem to be on the up again. I'd say him. Also check fixtures and see which has the favourable ones.

I’m debating both for Trippier. Probably Moreno for this week due to Estu minutes risk but Estu longer term once fitness proven and he’s confirmed as a regular 70+ minute man

Related question - would you bench Porro for Moreno this week?

Tough! Would lean Moreno just because I think they are a better defence including a great GK. CS chances and attacking returns is the sweet spot for a defender, hence why TAA is so good.

    Captain?

    a) Foden (H Sheff United)
    b) Son (H Bournemouth)
    c) Salah (H Newcastle)

Quite a tough one. Foden has the best fixture but he's not really been hauling like Son and Salah are capable of. Newcastle look a bit vulnerable ATM so Salah is probably a popular choice. As for Son and Spurs it could go either way and Bournemouth are no mugs....

      Salah

Might be just me but I think I'd avoid Son, Bournemouth are in good form and Spurs are missing Kulu, while Richarlison seems to still have some issue with his back judging by the early subs. Son was really wide yesterday too. From the other think it on how you think the SHU game goes really

I’ve suffered with Diaby for a long time. I’m on the verge of transferring him to Foden/Bilva, but something about that Burnley fixture is giving me pause. Hold for one final fling?

While we are considering ASIAN/AFCON we should also bear in mind the FACup 3rd round Jan 4-8, if at all possible 🙂 AVL & CHE out already but all other Prem teams have a game. CHE, FUL & LIV do have EFL games Jan 9-10 also. It's going to be mayhem until the 'Winter Break' isn't it. FPL Reflexology! Haha!
