You shouldn't beat yourself up about that. Salah takes a better penalty & Dubravka ends up on 1 point, or maybe even less. Liverpool broke the record for xG in a Premier League match tonight - that's just how porous Newcastle are at the moment.

Newcastle on terrible form away to one of the strongest attacks in the league.. I still think Turner was the right choice on paper.

Pen saves are just good luck when they happen
A bit OP where a GK who concedes 3 goals but saves a pen gets the same points and more bps as a GK with a CS!

I think this is very short sighted. Look at xG, in normal circumstances, he's -1 today. You can't plan a pen save

How come Haaland only dropped price by 0.1 when he's been sold by millions?

    How does price rises/drop works?

        1. SalahFingers

When someone is red flagged, it takes more to cause a drop... so not much.

Son and Salah will probably only drop 0.2 each max.

            • 9 Years

Alright didn't know it takes more to drop when you're flagged. Probably explains why Haaland hasn't much. Thanks

              • 8 Years
              2 years, 4 months ago

It depends on ownership too. He was at like 92% ownership, but now around 60%. Still seems like he should have dropped more.

                • 9 Years

That was what u was thinking. He was like 89% owned and now 53% yet he's only dropped by 0.1. Weird

My worry is selling Salah but then him not dropping enough that it makes it harder for me to buy him back

And FPL intervention..they have been doing it for years. People selling Son and Salah in the hope their value will drop significantly are in for a shock and a big conundrum of how to get them back.

I think Haaland is because of injury and because he’s below his starting price.

      I mean, does it matter?

Do you want 20+ mill of unplaying players on your bench? If you have 2 free transfers definitely sell. If only 1 then I guess you can hold onto one of them, but you're leaving points on the table.

I'm selling both and if neither drop then I'll just have to accept it.

      1. Sir Michael Taker
        • 11 Years

Another reason to sell at least 1 is even the better defenders are now not great and you have to play 4 of them if you've got Salah and Son parked, all 5 if anyone else in your team misses out.

Been mentioned in multiple articles already, but no they are not price locked - so yes their price can fall. Red flag so will mean more transfers needed, but they can (and will) fall.

Price locks only happen when chance of playing goes from 0% to 100%. Not vice versa. So, ACON and Asia Cup player prices will drop.

He was a bit unlucky again. He hit just about all of those shots far more cleanly than Gakpo’s one that resulted in a goal. I still think he’ll come good, hopefully he’ll step up while Mo’s away

Assuming no injuries, I think I'm going to go with a front 7 of

    Saka Bowen Gross Palmer
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

No Foden or Richarlison which I guess we'll be popular picks but hoping the above will see me though.

Enough itb to get Salah back as and when

I want to switch to a 343 so it’s for my Archer replacement. I like Neto (owned him earlier in the season) but don’t want to spend 5.6 on my eighth attacker

I've got too many contenders to replace Salah with, I need to brittle this list down. Who would you go for?

    A. Palmer (my preferred choice)
    B. Olise
    C. Richarlison (Son's absence probably won't help him)
    D. Jota (will be Liverpool’s main goal threat for Salah gone)

My other mids are Foden, Bowen & Saka

If I replace Salah it will be tonight as I've had him from gw1 so I have a lot more to lose then some managers.

I've also got the option to bench Salah but that would mean in order to get Haaland for Burnley I would need to take a hit.

I benched Salah during last afcon and it didn't negativity impact my team at all

I did salah to richi last night.

I now have 0.1m spare for a possible archer to haaland - 4 move if haaland is fit

Spurs are super attacking and richi is oop

I don't rate him as a player but feels a good fpl pick

He's never been a great FPL pick since he was playing for Watford.. remember when everyone piled on him because he had about 3 big chances per game and everyone ended up selling him after about 6 games as he scored like once. He will poach the odd goal but needs 2 returns for Baps . There are better options. Plus we don't know how Anj will accommodate no Son. I hate him as a spurs fan. So wasteful

Hey guys I know everyone probably has spoken about it already but can someone tell me if VAR are looking at something else to what we see on our screens?

VAR checked it from the front and side and clearly showed a dive then they went back to the rear angle where it’s not clear enough and decided to award it after seeing how clear the dive was from the other angles

Dubravka's elbow came down hard on Jotas ankle as he is lifting his left foot putting him off balance and was unable to put full weight on his left foot as he landed 6' from where he was struck.
