Bailey with 5 chances created, most of anyone. Only came on after 62 minutes.

Emery you do understand you must start him this weekend, right?

no, he was always given 60 mins plus they had their keepers injured and subbed after five mins so after he scored, he was always going to be resated. Eze is a more wait and see,

*rested. Roy was told to be more careful with him this time over this run of games. Eze did go down on 76 mins, feeling a twinch so took him off and the game fell into a championship side quality game of football.

If you've decided you really want him and sinplt can't get him in easily otherwise, got for it.

But you know the risks. He's got to play this next game first, and he's a player back from long term injury. Anything can happen.

Also says Everton had 4 shots on target, so presumably 2 were blocked by other players?

Thanks for looking! I assumed the source was Opta for the sites mentioned but suppose that's wrong. BBC is pretty reliable for stuff like lineups so not a bible, but FFScout uses Opta.

Can't complain with an 8-pointer too much, even if it would have made it 10!

According to Sky at the end of the game Fulham had 6 shots on target, Everton 3, but saves were 5 to 2 so I'm assuming both teams had a shot blocked on the line by someone other than the keepers

If he's fit, Haaland is better pick than Solanke 99 times out of 100.

Keeping Alvarez and selling Solanke may not be a bad move, given the DGW coming up though. Although... Is Alvarez starting by then.

    Good evening all!!

My forwards are Toney, Solanke and Watkins , who would you sell for Haaland????

Prior to this evening my initial plan was to lose Watkins to Haaland

    Early thoughts of course!!

    Thoughts welcomed!!

    Cheers everyone!!

Solanke and Watkins could match or even exceed Haaland this weekend.
Maybe wait a week and then lose one of them?

Sounds advice mate!! I am considering that too, really hard to sell either this week like you say they could even outscore Haaland, they certainly both have the better fixtures!!

It'll have to be Solanke or Watkins since Toney doubles in 25. Tough to pick one of them so good luck with that

There is no urgency to rearrange the Bournemouth Luton game since they have sufficient number of free slots. Could be the back end of the season

Tricky one mate!! I feel the same about Solanke too, would be hard to lose him, he’s in great form as Bournemouth on the whole, makes sense for you to keep Alvarez with the double coming up for sure

Sick of this … what do they think this fixing achieves …. Anyone playing a game wants consistent rules applied to make the game fair for everyone … this just taints FPL … this needs stopped next season …. Talk about imitation of the blatant behind the scenes corruption of real football being transcended into a wee bit of FPL fun … absolute BS.

    Price Changes 31 January

Rises: Haaland (14.0), De Bruyne (10.7), Walker (5.5)

    Falls: Watkins (8.8), Ferguson (5.8), Wissa (5.6), McGinn (5.5), Nørgaard (5.3), Foster (4.7), N.Aguerd (4.4), Chambers (3.8)

Wow, lost 0.2 on watkins to haaland which prices me out of my next moves. Both stats and hub just about had watkins to drop which would’ve been fine, hub had a haaland rise but stats had him way off. Will just have to take it on the chin and maybe take a hit somewhere, and think it was the right move to not make the move re haaland fitness, but won’t be trusting stats in the future!

Did Alvarez > Haaland as the price prediction was for a 0.2m swing, and regardless of how well Alvarez plays against Burnley there's no room for him in my team after this week. However at this stage Haaland remains a punt.

      Haaland GW16 ownership 8.8m teams price 14.0m
      Haaland GW22 ownership 5.8m teams price 14.0m
      Seems legit

Absolutely fed up of the price fixing of the big assets. Haaland price fixing is appalling and takes away from what should be a simple wee game of FPL … pathetic

Haaland was due to rise according to the Hub,, I checked before the deadline, he was getting transferred in at a rate of 6% an hour, most people just got caught out by assuming he wasnt near.

KDB looks almost unbuyable now for those not already on him, a haul tonight as many peoples Cs will cause a lot to meltdown.

Haaland is fit and back to the price he was, outrageous!

Watkins on a poor run and dropped 0.1 but still above start price, outrageous!

Not sure what ‘FPL Towers’ are gaining with this ‘fix’

Smart and sensible move based on data. Luck sadly doesn’t look at data.

I posted on here WEEKS ago explaining the mass number of sales (broke it down into % of managers who transferred out players) and explained not to expect drops on Haaland, Salah, Son and co and that they would re-rise easily.

Haaland started the season at 7,200,159 teams selected by (TSB) and didn't price rise until GW5 when he had 9,070,132 TSB. So even though he dropped from 9,070,132 TSB to 5,757,543 TSB (as of GW22) you have to remember that approximately 1.8M of those transfers were bringing him BACK to his starting point (thus the drop from 14.1 to 14.0). He then dropped again at 6,260,409 TSB (another 1M sales) in GW16 by which point he'd been flagged for his 3rd GW running (and we know flags reduce price changes). Based on this information it's unlike he is going to drop another 0.1M from 6,260,409 TSB (GW16) to 5,757,543 TSB (GW22).

I don't know the specific numbers for his transfers in at this point but he has clearly got back to around his 14M value point which is clearly between 6,260,409 (the point he dropped to 13.9M) and 8,880,0074 (GW9 when he dropped from 14.1M @ 9,008,161 to 14M)

      Original info;

      "Neto (WOL) lost 87% of his TSB & dropped 0.2M between GW9 & GW20
Mbeumo (BRE) lost 77% of his TSB and dropped 0.2M between GW14 & GW20
Haaland (MCI) lost 37% of his TSB and dropped 0.1M between GW16 & GW20
Isak (NEW) lost 45% of his TSB and dropped 0.1M between GW8 & GW13
Pope (NEW lost 50% of his TSB and dropped 0.1M between GW14 & GW20"

Do you have info on how many teams there were in GW1? Interested in Haaland's % ownership compared to now when there are a million or more teams than at the start of the season.

There is probably a way of finding out, but I don't have that data to hand, it's also 0218 here and I just got back from the gym. I need to sleep 😀

All good, his % ownership at the start of the season was significantly higher than it is now that his price has returned to £14.0m like it was at the start.

True. Wildcard transfers will also have an impact. Also the % of ownership would be higher at the start given his recent injury and the number of additional teams that have since been created.

Sums up perfectly the problem with the system - imagine trying to explain that to a more casual FPL player who can't understand why they now can't afford to bring Haaland back into their team...

in addition to the bs manually manipluated price changes, lets also not forget the literally didnt count an actual goal and assist last week. fpl is fun, but taking this nonsense seriously is a mistake. this isnt a legitimate competition at the end of the day

Im learning what it really is now, just my 3rd year after 30 years of american fantasy sports. shocking how terribly run fpl is. so much potential to be an amazing (legitimate) competition, but whoever is running it is a certified idiot.

not unless he somehow figured out how to rewrite the fpl code to count actual stat changes before the next game week starts when he was doing squat thrusts
