My head hurts - help needed!
I'm thinking about bringing in Jota or Luis Diaz this week but need to bench someone for them to play. I'm thinking:

    1) Gordon to Jota/Diaz, bench Palmer or bench Saka?

    OR

    2) Roll, make the change next week and stick with my team below...

    Alisson
    Porro - Trippier - Gabriel
    Foden - Saka - Richarlison - Palmer
    Haaland - Watkins - Solanke

    BENCH: Areola, Gordon, Mykolenko, Kabore

    1FT, £2.3m ITB.

I would roll or just do Solanke to Darwin with your free transfer.

I've got too much value tied up in Solanke and wouldn't be able to get him back for GW28!

Probably saved you. Not sure why Darwin is that popular that it's worth losing and in form Solanke Vs Fulham

Bottomed. Would you WC this team? 1FT and £3.3m ITB. Plan is to do Solanke to Darwin this week, and either roll or do Konsa to VvD in GW25.

Main concern is no KdB and WC can maximise doublers in GW25 & 28, and avoid using FH in 29.

    Dubravka
    Porro - Walker - Gabriel
    Saka - Palmer - Foden - Jota
    Solanke - Watkins - Haaland

    Areola; Gordon, Saliba, Konsa

Numbers vs finishing ability. Agree that Diaz looks a good option though but just not better than jota

His great low scoring contributions in some games not ticking enough FPL boxes.

Estupinan's recent mins are causing many to wonder whether he needs to he sold so I wouldn't go there right now. Gomez's mins also likely to suffer from the return to fitness of Robbo/Tsimikas/Trent. I'm not super keen on City defenders but in your position with injuries maybe I'd take a punt on Gvardiol/Walker (or Doughty?)

What would you do here? Considering Alison Becker and Diogo Jota in for Raya and Saka

    Raya, Neto
    Trippier, Trent, Estu, Doughty, Porro
    Saka, Palmer, Foden, Richarlison, Garnacho
    Haaland, Watkins, Toney

Then I would probably do Porro to Walker to have 3 Pool, 3 City, 1 Brentford and 1 Luton for the DGW. Would require 2 transfers in GW26 to field 11. Maybe Richarlison, Jota or Trent out.

    Areola
    TAA, Porro, Gabriel

    Dubravka - Estupinan - Kabore - Mubama

bite the bullet and WC to this to bring in the likes of Haaland, Jota, other DGW players? 2 FT and 0.8 itb.

    Leno/Areola
Gabriel, Alex Moreno, Senesi, Alexander-Arnold, Pedro Porro
Saka, De Bruyne, Foden, Palmer, Bowen
    Watkins, Solanke, Toney

Looks like you should be able to get Haaland & Jota for -4 maybe..? Then you'd have 3x City, 2x Liv and Toney - seems like a good DGW team to me

  15. mwa1t

    Any thoughts appreciated. Current team:

    Dubravka
    Porro Estupinan Zinch
    Saka KDB Palmer Neto
    Watkins Alvarez Haaland

    Areola Gordon Branthwaite Baldock

I'm thinking Palmer -> Jota this week so I have a LIV player for the doubler, then Porro -> Trippier next week to get an extra player for BGW 26.

Any thoughts? Don't have a clue what i'll do after 26 when I'd like to get Salah and Son in. Ideally I'd not lose Palmer too, but I think in the short term Jota is a better option.

    Cheers

    Neto, Flekken
VVD, Gabriel, Doughty, Ait-Nouri, Van Hecke
    KDB, Saka, Jota, Foden, Garnacho

3.3 ITB for Salah. 8x doublers in GW25, easy to field 11x players for BGW26. Thoughts?

I'm concerned that Palace are actually really bad at the moment. Got in some great positions against Villa. Two games on the trot he's whipped in some nice balls.

We'll probably be a bit buouyed by the cup performance.

Imagine it's more likely WHU or BHA score...

Chelsea are really bad too though, let's not let a random cup performance cloud our judgement. Palace can still score without Eze or Olise, as shown last week.

Don't disagree were inconsistent. Just think it's a good matchup. Gusto even got returns the last time we played Palace. The CS odds are much better than Spurs, for example.

Enzo and that just aren't up for a Monday night scrap at Selhurst though. Can see Spurs easily putting a few past Brighton, especially if Son's playing, and Porro's still very attacking.
