    A) Garnacho & TAA --> KDB & Reguilon
    B) Palmer & TAA --> KDB & Doughty

    Dubravka
    TAA - Porro - Gabriel
    Saka - Jota - Foden - Garnacho
    Haaland - Watkins - Darwin
    (Areola - Palmer - Estu - Branthwaite)

      Tough one. 5 doubles, 3 city feels like a good (assuming Trent plays). Thing with Nacho you might want him for 26. I’d say definitely hold Palmer and wait it out maybe on Trent news to do A. But it is A of those two

      I'd do B and keep Garnacho.

      As great as Palmer's been, he can't score when he doesn't play, and he's easy to buy back regardless of lost value.

    Morning everyone! Have just 4 doublers. Upgrade defence, add more doublers or save?

    Areola
    Porro, TAA, Gabriel
    Saka, Foden, Richarlison, Jota
    Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

    Dubravka, Palmer, Branthwaite, Senesi
    0.8 ITB

    A - TAA -> Ake
    B - Porro -> Ake
    C - save
    D - your suggestions

      As others have said. Wait on Trent news.

      He is likely to drop very soon it seems but A or B depending on how you plan to play 28&29

    2FT, 0.3 ITB:
    Leno
    Trippier Porro Walker
    Richarlison Foden Saka Jota
    Haaland Watkins Hojlund
    (Areola – Palmer, Konsa, Taylor)

    Any ideas on how to move forward? Happy with this team, but having 2FT pushes me to do something. Maybe just ship out Konsa? Flekken for Leno? Murder whole team to get Salah?

    Thanks!

      Nothing really needs doing here I don’t think. Konsa would be the only thing I’d look at but not sure I’d do any moves just yet.

      Actually a strong position with 2ft going into 26. Anything can happen between now and then

    Good info on Salah's training session here.

    Only partial first team training, not involved in full contact.

    Also aligned with what Klopp said in Fridays presser.

      Posted on a previous thread but on a forum like this two goes to see it is much better.

      Imagine if there were a no duplication rule on here!

      It's all going to be about Trent this week with a fair sprinkling of Jota, Salah, KDB and Palmer thrown into the mix.

        It's 3 games in 8 days. 70 mins against Luton seems a bit high imo. Grade 2 torn hamstring with high risk of re-injury.

    Is Konate likely to play twice in the double or just the one? Could move TAA to VVD but going for Konate opens up a very convenient avenue to Salah in GW27 from Jota

      If you look at the pattern of his mins on transfermarkt (or similar), it seems like the vast majority of the time he gets a rest rather than starting twice per week. I guess there's a longstanding concern about protecting him. I think Quansah might get a start v Luton

      if Trent is out, then a punt on the young lad is reasonable....

      Some say you'll be booking in a transfer but most are playing a wildcard soon enough.

      Bradley at 4.1m is okay in the squad, you could risk cameos and start him too.

    Not enough in the bank for KDB...
    Torn between these options;

    A. Gusto > Ake
    B. Jesus > Alvarez
    C. Jesus > Toney

    Either striker will be coming out for Solanke in 28, so purely a 3 week punt. Alvarez feels like the one with the highest ceiling in that regard... but is he still going to continue his run of league starts?!

    1. Big Mike
      • 3 Years

      I'd go Jesus > Darwin and then bring in Toney next game week. Keep Gusto as in my opinion he's the best 4.1m defender in the game.

      I won't be getting him back. Bradley's emergence means it's likely Klopp will feel more comfortable rotating TAA than he did before, and given the number of issues he's picked up recently he may end up being more careful with him in the next few months

      Probably wont be. With the 3x premium options and Son (sort of premium) available again you have to cut costs somewhere. My feeling is and has been all defence isnt a place to use funds heavily this season with lack of and unpredictability of CS.

        He literally scored 18 points one gameweek before this one and had several clear chances v United

        That said in this specific case I think it's a 50-50 decision. I'd probably just bench Gordon because Bournemouth are better than Fulham.

          Yes, but Sheffield Utd were unbelievably poor in that match. I don't mind the dip in form as it can happen of course to any side but the Kamara injury really pushes it for me now as they haven't looked like the side in the first half of this season for a few weeks even with the likes of him and Moreno fit. Don't think it's a massive coincidence that without him they laboured to a 1-1 draw at home go Sheffield Utd but with him they tore through them (although again, SHU were exceptionally poor in the latter game)

    Question on chips - Do they affect your transfers in anyway?

    For example, if I play a bench boost, does it change me having two FT the following week, if I've not used a transfer for a few weeks?

    1. Volley127
      • 13 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

      For TC and BB you still roll your transfer as normally, so you could have 2 FT the next week.

      However, if you play the WC or FH, the next week you will only have 1 FT regardless of if you had a FT to roll over before using the chips.

    2. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

      No, only transfer-based chips (WC and FH) impact that. Can't roll an FT through those two so if you use one this week you'll only have one FT next week. If you roll this week while using BB or TC you'll have 2FT next week

    3. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 1 month ago

      Playing TC or BB doesn't impact your FT.

      Only WC and FH.

      "Please note that when playing either a Wildcard or your Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers will be lost. You will be back to the usual 1 free transfer the following Gameweek."

    That Grealish injury is bad for Haaland TC. I know Haaland braced in the last match and don’t know if there is some stats to show it, but Doku is bad for Haaland

      Feel like Doku is bad for most, excellent dribbler but his decision making and final balls are really poor. He'll improve in time I'm sure but he's very wasteful right now

      1. Qaiss
        • 10 Years

        Decision making especially, hogs the ball for too long. Pep must tell him to do that, because he’s obsessed with details but with everyone else in that City side, their play flows. It flows less with Doku

        Did Bernardo pick up an injury last night? Didn’t watch the game, heard he did.

        You’re right and there still won’t be a better time to TC Haaland this season but was hoping it would be Grealish that starts alongside Haaland more now

          Yep

          Looks that way

          From City Xtra.

          City face Chelsea and Brentford in crucial upcoming Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium in the next week, with the Sky Blues able to take control of the title race with wins in both matches.

          Guardiola could be without a key trio for those fixtures however, with concerning injuries to Gvardiol, Grealish and Silva.

          Grealish and Silva were both forced off after suffering injuries against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday night, as Jeremy Doku and Matheus Nunes replaced the attacking duo.

      Haaland's got 15 goals in 12 games when they both start and only 6 goals in 13 games when Doku doesn't start.

        They haven’t linked up for a goal once and it’s quite noticeable with eye test alone

          Not sure you can use that argument when Grealish has a whopping ONE assist all season.

          Doku doesn't link up with anybody for a goal outside of that Bournemouth game, but saying he's bad for Haaland is just plain wrong - he's got more than double the goals when they start together.

            As I said, on eye test alone. Many have noticed it, some City fans even

    If TAA is out would TAA & Isak > Ake & Darwin be worth -4. Would mean benching Palmer this week and I'd have 8 starters in GW26 before transfers.

    Man City marginally favoured over the 2 games with the home fixture.

    Doubt this spread market data is taking much account if rotation into the Cup Final but it could be priced in across the squad.

    DGW25 matchups: spread market implied goals + CS odds

    Two very strong fixtures for MCI and LIV this gameweek, as expected - both teams clear favourites in their midweek games

    TOT, ARS, MUN and BHA with favourable matchups among the single gameweek teams.

    Bilva + Trent -> Gabriel + KDB for -4?

    I have exact funds, so will probably have to do it before info on Trent is available...

      Assuming Trent is out I like it

      Go for it. I'm in a similar situation where if I wait for Saturday morning leaks I'll be priced out of my Trent - KDB package so I'm going early too
