TAA + McAtee to Reg + Jota (-4)? Means I can still field 11 in GW26

Funds are tight when I'm asking this but does anyone know what Burnley's first choice back 4 is now?

    Assignon - Beyer* - O'Shea - Taylor*?

When they're all fit that is, or is Vitino/Esteve in there?

    Hows this

Dubravka Trent Porro Gordon single gameweek

    For

    Kaliski Doughty Ake Jota
    All double

    -12

Do all the doublers score 12 pts more????

You've asked this or something very similar a few times so it seems like you're intent on a -12. If you want to do it then go for it but if you're hoping for people to tell you it's a good idea you probably won't habe much better luck

    How’s it going comrades?

My plan last week for DGW25 was to do Estu + Palmer to Reguilon (before he was fashionable - I have the receipts!) and KDB for -4. Still seem like decent moves?

I’ve considered a -8 (Porro + Gordon + Solanke > Reguilon + KDB + Darwin) as well but is that a bit much?

My team is light on DGW 25 players but in decent shape for 26 and 29 blanks

    1FT 4.6ITB
    Dubravka
    Porro Estupinan Cash
    Saka Foden Jota Gordon Palmer
    Haaland Watkins

    Areola Solanke Kabore Robinson

Have been looking to move Gordon on for a good few GWs then held for the 3 favourable fixtures starting at Luton but I’m more than ready to pull the trigger now.

    Considering
TAA -> Konate or Udogie to free funds for
    Gordon -> KDB

    For a -4

Can’t bring in City DEF as have Foden and Erling (it’s a minefield anyway).

Ideally would be bringing in a non blanker in gw26 but I can’t see any that either outweigh Konate potential in the double or udogie long termability

    1. Yozzer
      • 8 Years

Probably yes but Gordon possibly up front at home to Bou is not the best time to sell. He is annoying though. He also plays in 26 away to Arsenal so that's 2 points extra and less need for a hit

Gordon's got one goal in his last 1,158 minutes of football.

Yeah I do think they could both miss one in all honesty but I agree with this

I'm bringing in Foden. He's approx 70% owned around my rank whereas Kev is more like 35%.

Whether that equates to more points remains to be seen.

Sure, we can always delay moves for more info but then you potentially lose out in the extra fixture.

True, but when Chelsea and Brentford have a decent chance of scoring, and Ake doesn't really have the goal threat to disregard clean-sheets points, is it worth it? They've kept 6 clean-sheets in 24 games.

Yeah Ake 0.11 xG/90 isn't ideal but he does have some threat at set pieces.

Get your point the CS outcome hasn't been great. xGC shows slightly underperformance compared to actual goals conceded.

It's not TC25 v BB25, it's TC25 vs TC in another GW and same for BB.

Do you think there is another better opportunity to TC over Haaland in 25?

Does BB25 outscore another BB in a future double GW?

Do you think you could get a BB together for GW28?

The other potential TC opportunities don't really look as good fixture-wise, if e.g. Brighton (A) gets added to Fulham (A) for City in 37

Hi Tony, I’m not a big fan of B/B so it seems, considering I have a decent bench this week to get it out of the way, but Haaland has got a great double also. We could wait for future gameweeks but it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to be any better than this week?

Last night has no bearing in what he does in the next game or the game after either.

Did you captain haaland in 24 when he didn't score in 23?

People were complaining that they wasted captaincy last week during the Everton game and he left with 13pts. Him not scoring in a CL game doesn't impact FPL points nor does it mean he can't score in the next game, just like KDB/Foden scoring in a CL game doesn't impact FPL points nor does it mean they'll definitely score in the next game

Think it was always likely he'd get benched in one but he was benched against Everton remember so you never know, he might be fine for two starts if he gets subbed early v Chelsea. Going by his comments last night it sounds like he just wants to keep playing more and more to push his fitness levels

    Best option here with FT:

    A) Dubrvaka -> Allison (means a -4 next week to field XI)
    B) Palmer -> Diaz (means a -4 next week to field XI and benching Gordon/Watkins in 25)
    C) Roll FT

    Dubravka
    Saliba - Gabriel - Walker*
    Saka - Foden* - Jota* - Gordon
    Darwin* - Haaland* - Watkins

    Bench: Areola; Porro, Palmer, Konsa.

    Bowen + Solanke > Jota + Morris/Cunha ? (for free)
    Yes or no?

Cunha was subbed early v Brentford with a hamstring problem. Haven't announced scan results yet but I certainly wouldn't be buying now

Can you afford just the Bowen to Jota move? You'll want Solanke back shortly.

Morris better than Cunha IMO as the latter has picked up an injury - so you'd need to monitor that.

    Need help

    Dubravka
    Porro, Gabriel, Doughty
    Saka, Richarlison, Jota, Foden
    Haaland, Solanke, Watkins
    ((Areola, Estupinan, Konsa, Adingra)

    A) Solanke - - Darwin
    B) Adingra - - Barkley (bench Solanke)
    C) roll, play Estupinan over Solanke
    D) Adingra + Konsa - - Van Dijk + Barkley (-4 and bench boost)

Would you keep Porro or Estupinian?

Also, I would like to replace on of them with Robertson, what’s your thought on him?

    Cheers

What to do here... 1FT & £1.5 ITB

    Leno
    Udogie, TAA*, White
    Foden*, Jota*, Saka, Gordon
    Haaland*, Watkins, Adebayo*

    Turner, Andersen, Palmer, Lascelles

    Lots of similar posts…..

    - don’t take hits that cause more hits next week
    - don’t sacrifice good single gameweek players for Luton/Brentford doublers
    - forget w29 for now and wait for next FA Cup results
    - don’t spend points gambling on a Citeh defender
    - Haaland can easily play 90 mins twice a week given he’s only knocking about in the final third
    - Alvarez should play both and enabler given price difference with say Foden/Toney
    - unless 0.0 ITB wait for Fridays pressers given decent amount of info coming on key players
