End of last article. I've got three routes to Haaland vs Luton. First one clear favourite right? FH34 and WC35.

    A. Watkins & Son -> Haaland & £4.3m Fodder
    B. Watkins & Salah -> Haaland & £7.7m mid (who may get benched anyway but better cover)
    C. Toney & Salah -> Haaland & £7.2m mid (may be benched as above)

Why do you want Haaland against a physical side?

Luton can’t defend and are aoa. Haaland should get space.

Because I think he's due a haul, it's a plum fixture and I feel like I've ridden my luck not owning him for long enough

Don't think I would be selling Toney before SHU. Watkins away to Arsenal makes it an easy sell.

Boils down to Son v Salah and prefer Liverpool attack/ hime fixture

I'm dead ending into 34. Thoughts on triple liverpool attack for GW34 vs double attack + a defender? My head right now is on triple attack and going for someone like Ait Nouri as my third Defender (have double Arsenal defence)

    Hey
2 FT's available want to bring in 2 doubler's for Son/Muniz given their weak or non existent fixtures for Gw34.
If i bring them in now I can then roll my FT in 34 and have 2 FTs to bring 2 or maybe 3 (for a hit) of Son/Richarlison/Porro/Jackson in for 35.

Current starting team for GW 34 is:
    Pickford
    Ait-Nouri/Gabriel/Branthwaite
    Havertz/Saka/Salah/Son
    Haaland/Muniz/Isak

    Bench- Onana/Palmer/Gusto/Munoz

    a) Diaz/Mateta
    b) Diaz/Cunha
    c) Diaz/Solanke
    d) Sarabia/Darwin
    e) Eze/Darwin
    f) McAllister/Darwin or any of the other Strikers I've listed

    f) is probably my favourite for certainty of starts coupled with fixtures but keen to get others thoughts

      1. indy13
        • 14 Years

At the time of posting that message, c) was my 2nd favourite or clear favourite if I'm not going for triple liverpool coverage.
As a Bournemouth fan I'm sorely tempted by Solanke. but then Wolves have Luton and Palace at home Gw35/Gw37.

    2. indy13
      • 14 Years

I've just realised I can do Diaz and Darwin. I was sure I didnt have enough funds for this but that was back when I was planning this all out in Gw 30 and played my WC. Son and Muniz have both added 0.1 of value since then.
It'll be hard not to grab the both of them as I'm leading my ML and the only differential my rivals have is either Diaz or Darwin.

interestingly this option lets me have 3 million in the bank either to take a hit and upgrade Munoz or Ait-Nouri if he's properly injured or bring Son straight back a week later for Havertz. This is why I'm struggling because I actually see positives in almost every option.

B or D for me. B is better for straightening the team out but of them all in GW33 Id rather have Foden against Luton and Toney against SU. Two players I won't have and will be very worried about as a result

At risk of rotation, more expensive than other defenders and no more likely to hold a clean sheet than any number of other options - I'm not sure why you would.

    Early transfer thoughts:

    Option 1:
    33 - Hwang to Eze
34 - Porro and Foden to VVD and Olise

    Option 2:
33 - Porro and Hwang to VVD and Sarabia
    34 - Foden to Eze

    DE34/WC35/BB37
    2FT 0.8ITB
    Neto
    Porro Saliba Gabriel

    Haaland Darwin Solanke

Why sell Hwang? How do you even have him?
He should be back by 34 and is a big differential.
Not keen on option 1 or 2 because I don’t rate VVD or Pool df. I’d rather just play a back 3 of the 2 Arsenal and Zabarnyi and use transfers on getting in Diaz and someone for Haaland in 34 (Cuhna/Mateta probably)

      1. Tonyawesome69
        • 7 Years

Been in my team since 26 and cheap enough to leave on the bench. Hwang didn't make the Wolves squad at the weekend. Likely eased in from hammy injury, same as Cunha and I don't see a start in 34.

I don't mind those moves but it'll have to be in 34.

Tough, neither one really stands out for me. Probably 1 because Eze can grab something Vs 'pool and also gives you 2FT going into the double

0.5m in the bank and 2 ft
When I played my wc a few backs the plan was Bradley and solanke to Hojland and gvardiol but the later 2 have not done to well so now not sure.

    Onana (petrovic)
Bradley, alt nouri, Gabriel (gusto, udogie)
    Palmer, salah, saka, son (nacho)
    Solanke, isak, haaland.

Decent as cheap option but sgw players like Watkins will prob outscore him.

Leaning towards bringing him in for GW34 when I dead end my team before wildcarding him out in 35. Would have to be for Haaland though but will see how City fare in both games against Madrid before committing to this.

Chelsea are a one man team & today showed how bad they are without him for 90!

Looking to dead end my team in GW34 then WC35 and BB37.

Have 2FT and 0.3itb. Concerned about Bradley and Ait-Nouri's game time in the next two and the plan was to bring in a 3rd Arsenal player in 33.

    What's the best play here:

A - Son to Havertz, roll 2nd transfer
B - Son to Sarabia, Konsa to White/Gabriel
    C - Any other option

    Neto
    Bradley Saliba Ait-Nouri
    Salah Son Saka Palmer Gordon
    Haaland Darwin

    Areola, Solanke, Zabarnyi, Konsa
