      Take your pick:
Eze, Olise, Sarabia, Brereton Diaz, maybe Hee Chan

Posting this again as I've still no clue what to do, with 2 FT's.

    will do FH34 and BB37

    Onana, Petrovic
    Udogie, Gusto, Gvardiol, RAN Lascelles,
    Salah, Son, Saka, Palmer, Gordon.
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz.

    0.6.in the bank.

    Good evening all,

What is the best chip strategy for someone with a BB, WC & a FH still available?

In short, I've only used TC.

    Thanks in advance

Have a luxury transfer this week (FH34/WC35), what looks best?

    A) Son -> KDB
    B) Son -> Havertz
    C) Doughty -> R. Lewis (bench headache/defensive cover)
    D) Other

    Kelleher
    Gabriel - Reguilon - Bradley
    Salah - Saka - Son - Foden - Palmer
    Haaland - Toney

    Dubravka - Muniz - Taylor - Doughty

    0.7 itb, triple Liverpool already

Why are a lot captaining Haaland? Surely he will be rested this weekend in prep for the Madrid game and plus he’s scored very few points this last few months

    1. Royal5
      • 14 Years

Pep want him to play, score goals and gain confidence. City can win 7-0 against Luton. Easy choice.

Pep has already said that the league is just as important and it’s not like Haaland uses up a lot of energy compared to others.. I think he will play minimum 60 mins.

    3. RICICLE
      • 3 Years
      1 year, 7 months ago

No reason why he would be rested, and it’s Luton, could easily explode with 3-4 goals

      1. Freddiemac123
        • 4 Years
        1 year, 7 months ago

Yes but it’s Luton so knowing pep he will start Alvarez as the game is in the bag anyhow and save the strength for Madrid. He wants to beat Madrid more than anything

        1. RICICLE
          • 3 Years

He also needs to keep Haaland sharp and get his confidence levels up imo ready for Madrid, it’ll be reduce skins for Haaland for sure, but I’d easily feel comfortable with 60-70 mins from him as captain, even a half of football providing he’s bagged his hattie by then.

I think the fact that he hasn't scored many points recently is why he will play - he'll be raring to go if he puts another five past Luton.

I think people are looking at his potential ceiling if he does play, was it 5 he scored against them a few weeks ago in the cup?, so fear plays into that too, cos if you don't cap him and he mega hauls then your rank will be murdered

I don’t see it- Pep will want to give him shooting practice to find his range for RM. But do expect him to be subbed out around 65-70 minutes

Suppose if ur at top of your league then you’d need to captain Haaland but chasing I wouldn’t captain him at all. None of know what goes thru peps head but we will find out soon and see who’s right

I'm surprised more people are not going Palmer. Great record at home, 90 mins & pens
I expect haaland to start but can see him coming off at half time if city 2 or 3 nil up
Most seem to think Luton will get absolutely smashed but they didn't capitulate versus spurs or Arsenal

I'm starting to lean towards BB34 with this team I have:

    Pickford, Kelleher,
Gabriel, Ait Nouri, Gusto, Taylor, Braithwaite,
    Salah, Son, Foden, Palmer, Saka,
    Haaland, Solanke, Muniz,

    I got 2FTs and 0.1m itb

Currently thinking Saka + Kelleher to Havertz and Henderson

Bench Henderson for Pickford this week
Then for GW34 get Saka back in place of Son. Thoughts?

Thoughts on the below? Plan to dead end 34 and WC 35. 1FT 0ITB.

    Leno
    Gabriel* Saliba Gusto
    Palmer Saka Salah Foden*
    Haaland (C) Solanke Watkins

    Aerola* Hwang Zarbanyi Kabore*

    A) Foden + Saliba to Havertz + Robertson/Virgil -4pts would do Leno to Pickford GW34.
    B) Foden to Diaz
    C) Foden to Eze
    D) Something else

Tempted by the upside of A

Suddenly struggling with my 34BB (planning WC35), as just short of funds for VVD if I get Havertz and DGW keeper for Foden and Areola. Is my best move:

    A) Foden > Havertz now; Areola, Van H out next week for DGW keeper, best def up to 6.0

    B) Foden > Havertz; then Areola, Van H out for Ortega and VVD

    C) Foden > Eze; then Areola, Van H out for DGW keeper and VVD

    Dubravka
    Gabs, Zabarnyi, RAN

Going for BB in GW34 (no more chips left, so want to look ahead to DGW35 and 37 too), any RMT or transfer suggestions appreciated - am likely to have 2 FT and 1.9m ITB:

    Raya Pickford
    Gabriel Bradley RAN Branthwaite Gusto*
    Salah Havertz Foden* Gordon* Palmer*
    Solanke Darwin Haaland*

Am uncertain about Bradley with TAA returning and might look at another defender transfer (* = single GW). Thanks for any advice all.

Neale is just amazing. I watched the whole of O'Neil's press conference and I thought I was the only person who noticed this:

"The hopefully positive thing is that O'Neil didn't even mention Ait-Nouri in his initial injury summary, only discussing the Algeria international when prompted."

I've been mulling over selling Son for the last hour. His final 7 fixtures are pretty challenging. Any other player would be an easy sell.

I just checked the corresponding fixtures earlier this season though and found that Son scored 72 points in those 7 games (Liv, Ars, Mci, New, Che, Shu, Bur). Not a clue where that leaves the idea of selling him.

  30. DennisTheMenace

Already WC’d in 30, am going to FH in 34 and BB in 37. I only have Saliba and Salah who aren’t going to double in 37.

    Petrovic
Van Hecke | Gvardiol | Saliba
    Palmer | Foden | Son | Salah | Gordon
    João Pedro | Håland

    Onana | Holjund | Gusto | Romero

Foden might not play so it would be Holjund coming in but I’m not particularly comfortable with that, especially after recent form. I’d like to keep Salah and Saliba until 37 because they’re just too good to get rid of. I’ve got 1FT and there’s no point not using it because I’m FHing next week.

I was thinking of doing Holjund —> Welbeck so Welbeck could come on first sub against Burnley away. Any other thoughts?
