The DGW is already gearing up to be a headache. I've my move booked, use one roll one, but setting up the XI isn't so easy. Do I bench Foden or Palmer, for Zabayni...

Play Foden. He’ll presumably be over his injury and back to first team squad following Real to win the title against a not particularly in form Brighton. I’m not that confident that Zabarnyi outscores either but got to play the doubler

Yeah, Zabarnyi is like any other defensive goal threat, either hauls or gets you 2.
Watkins, Palmer, Gusto my bus bench order. If my team was returning like this a few weeks back, I'd be chasing 1st.

      No it looks good.

Think Chris Richards is likely to still be injured but you’re unlikely to need him; RAN is obviously a wait and see.

If I was on FH I might be tempted to play Cunha or Darwin ahead of Haaland (if Darwin, swap Diaz for Eze- and consequently shuffle Richards for someone else) but I’m happy with Haaland on a non-FH

Gave up on sleeping. So, FH34 early draft 🙂

    Pickford
    Munoz, Gabriel, RAN
    Salah, Saka, Havertz, Eze, Diaz
    Darwin, Solanke
    (Henderson, Cunha, Mykolenko, Senesi)

    There'll all be fairly similar.

    Main decisions:
    Ars goalie/Def v mids
    Virgil v Darwin
    Mateta v Cunha

Yep. Gab in there. Making 3, in squad above.
Avoiding LFC Def. Unless injury info. Or, Trent definitely back.
        Probably will have Cunha.

Then I think Bruno or Gordon might be a serious SGW consideration given form and opposition but Olise or Sarabia seem good bets

      1. I would have said Saka but see 3 Ars players already.

      2. Sarabia (Wol) / Kluivert (Bou)

      3. Do you need a DGW player - possible alternative punt with SGW - Gordon

      ---

      4. I'm guessing Sarwin up front is Darwin (Liv) - possible look at situation with Jota
if back playing Jota (game time a concern/with rotation pull - although less after horrible mid-week defeat in Europe) but would then need alternative up front - wild punt on someone
like McBurnie (SHU) / Mateta (CRY)

Hurrah. I did Kerkez to Reguilon which I should be feeling smug about but feel somewhat hollow inside by having opted for the popular favourite and getting a fluky clean sheet rather than sticking to my principles and staying with Kerkez through the hard times and the good, as he plays the match of a lifetime and is unlucky not to come out of it with an enormous haul

There was a fun game started last night, checking the events that happened in the year equated to your FPL score. A chap had said he’d reached this year while another was 60 years into the future and that he’d be 85 by then (one of my happier years in my case).

I thought it would be fun to do my score and was delighted to learn that it was the year that they invented the person self propelled bicycle, as well as a number of other exciting events, including the opening of the New York Stock Exchange and a giant sea serpent sighting off the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts

    VVD, Gabreil, Branthwaite, Zabarnyi
    Salah, Saka, Odegaard
    Haaland, Solanke, Mateta

    Areloa, Pau, Palmer, Gordon

    A) Gordon to Luis Dias (bench Zabarnyi and play SGW keeper)
    or
    B) Areloa to Henderson or Sa (10 DGWers + Haaland)

Morning! Is it possible to use BB, WC and FH three weeks in a row? Or is there any issue?

No issues. Are you keeping FH until GW38?

FH36? Or is it BB35 (with FH37)? I’d be interested in your strategy

Thinking of making three moves here.
    Son-Saka, this is nailed.
    These are not: Nacho-Diaz?, Muniz-Solanke/Cunha?

    Pickford
    VVD, RAN, White, Stones, Gusto
    Havertz, Foden, Palmer, Son, Garnacho
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz
    BB 37, btw.

Why are people transferring out Son before their doubles, ditching him entirely or getting him back after the blank?

Back on WC35, although at this rate it might not be worth getting Spurs players.

        Yeah, Spurs form really dipped.
Wise move might be to avoid completely.
Maddison looks like aliens kidnapped his footballing brain like in “Space Jam”.
Kulusevski can’t even pass the ball anymore.
        Werner is Werner.
Young Johnson can run fast but not much more than that, clearly overhyped.
Richarlison is carrying an injury which is clearly more serious than they tell us.
Son looks like he’s fed up being surrounded by the Spursyness.

Our form has been fine (2 losses in 12). Front three have been excellent. The balance in midfield is the problem. Maddison and Bissouma's from has dropped off massively. Kulu just doesn't fit the system at the moment.

You haven't been watching Johnson since Xmas if you think he's over hyped. Werner is the same terrible finisher as ever, but is perfect for this system.

The people posting generally have Chips left so can get him back. He has two fixtures over the next two weeks. There are players with three fixtures, and there are players with a better pair of fixtures over those two weeks who also will double in 37 too. So he's not essential if you Palmer© dgw35.

Because him & team are rubbish & the likes of Gordon etc are killing Son owners

Think I'm warming to the idea of picking Bruno over Son for WC35. Son is badly out of form and has tough fixtures ahead, whereas Bruno may have one less game, he's returned in 6 of the last 7, and the fixtures ahead are better for Utd.

Son 35-37 - ARS, che, liv, BUR, MCI
Bruno 35-37 - BUR, cry, ARS, NEW

Will likely move to Salah for GW38.
