Both in poor form and potentially fatigued. But yeah, still think those two are the best options.

Probably Salah, though I'm not hugely confident in him

It wouldn’t shock me if Salah was benched. His finishing has been so bad its affecting the rest of the team.

Got it on Eze at the moment. Also on FH this week and have replaced Saka with Havertz.

Reached the point now where I don’t trust either of them anymore and seriously considering ditching both those two and Son on my WC next week.

Just messing around with a potential WC team for 35, things what I have so far

    XXX - XXX
    Gabriel - Schar - XXX - XXX - Gusto
    Saka - XXX - Salah - Palmer - Gordon
    Jackson - Haaland - Isak

Five players I’m a bit lost on really. Maybe something along the lines of:

Onana - Van de Ven - XXX - XXX - Foden

Not a clue for the other 2 spots with 9.1 to spend.

Only a mess around for now, but any ideas welcome. Thanks.

Yeah I may actually keep Dubravka and remove Schar to be honest, just that damn Schar has been so attacking of late, may change with Trips back though I dunno.

Son is the only Spurs outfielder I’d like, overlooked him actually, the fixtures don’t inspire but if anyone is gonna grab something it’s likely him. I want zero Spurs defence, no cleanie’s there what so ever.

        1. Royal5
          • 14 Years
          1 year, 11 months ago

Right. You already had Gordon and Isak, Schar could cover Dubra actually. Son has been awful lately, but feel he has a good record against City. And Burnley is a great fixture. At least no rotation and even got pens. The rest of your picks makes sense imo. You confident on the crazy Jackson though?

          1. RICICLE
            • 3 Years
            1 year, 11 months ago

For sure, just Dubravka instead of Schar would save the pennies if needed elsewhere by the final chosen team.
Son does have a very decent record against City, I just hope Spurs can pick up some form which I reckon they should, the Burnley fixture is lovely, free from rotation and on pens like you say. The rest more or less picks itself.

Jackson……not massively optimistic but I have a feeling he can do well, feeding and receiving off Palmer, linked up really well against EVE. He’s worth the 35 punt I’d say, 37 is up in the air but if he shows some good form through 35 then I’d likely keep.

I think I agree actually. Jackson is probably worth a try - at least for the double in 35. Could always move him if it doesn’t work out. Can’t remember what the potential suspension for YC is atm

Hardly. If you went back to August and offered a cup and top three to a Liverpool fan they’d have bitten your hand off. Klopp is leaving a great team, Salah gets sold for $100m+ to Saudi, new manager gets to bring in a player of choice. VVD will need replacing in a year but they can find that person.

    Picking between these 2 combos

    a)
    GK: Henderson
    MID: L.Diaz
    FWD: Mateta

    b)
    GK: Alisson
    MID: Eze
    FWD: Mateta/Cunha

    Haaland - Solanke* - XXX

Areola - Palmer - Kerkez - Van Hecke

Nah, top 10 maybe. But he is having a Vardy-like season from a couple of years back. The chances he used to miss, he finishes this season. Very impressed by him and Villa in general.

Be mad money either way - was getting cooked on here last night for saying they need a new striker, LW, LCM and fullbacks to win a title - what do you think? (Said Odegaard was crap too)

The need a new striker. Havertz and Jesus are not goal scorers. Martinelli has been terrible this season, Saka inconsistent, same with Trossard (he is a squad player imo) Rice and Odegaard have been fantastic this season imo. As have White and the two CB’s. But Arteta has spend big money. So the expectations should be high.

Rice is a doubler with set piece assist threat, CS potential and demonstrated goal threat though. I think if he starts both games he is the clear choice. Palmer caps out at 10 this week I think as the chance Arsenal don't respond from their loss and leak susbtantially is quite low (imho)

Alright DZ team I have delayed this question repeatedly and it's now Time to ask.

I can get to 8 or 9 doublers this week (if Semenyo plays and using FT to move Gross and Estu) -
    - IF I DON'T BB then I am benching Foden or Palmer (and Maybe even Haaland)
    - Doublers already in place are Pickford, Raya, Zaba, Saka, Gabriel, Darwin and Semenyo*)

If I Bench Boost 37 with my WC 35 I can make a great team with my and have 13-15 doublers (with less appealing GK fixtures with who else I would go for)...

What do people think? Thanks so much

Not even sure Haaland May start this gwk to be honest .Just weigh up both teams and go with your gut which one you reckon would get the most.
I was going to bench boost , but then looked at my sgw players who would double in 37 and thought better chance so I’m going 37 now similar to you 9 doubles this week and will be the same with a hit in 37 .
      Good luck

I know what you mean. I’m half hoping Haaland is injured so the decision is made for me. But I think Arsenal will remain solid and Brighton are there for the taking. However, I’m bracing myself for another Palmer masterclass

Mateta has been great since the pre-seasons; if it hadn’t been for competition with Edouard he might have been a favourite from the start. If I was on FH he’d definitely be in

Should I play Isak or Palmer?

    Henderson
    Gabriel Saliba Zabarnyi
    Foden Salah Saka Hwang
    Isak Mateta Solanke

    Turner Palmer Gomez Taylor

Both players on fire, I would edge Isak just because of the fixture

Which option for this week only:

    A) Robbo, Eze, Havertz
    B) Saliba, Eze, Jota/Diaz

    I’m leaning towards A….

I’d go A aswell, Liverpool not been free scoring lately

Tough one; think A. Liverpool attack looks shot and I’d prioritise Havertz over Saliba

I think B. Henderson has a better chance of a CS; Tarkowski has some goal threat even if the goals start raining in

        Tarkowski’s real boss is Vought!

Saving 2FT to get me through GW34 and sending up with Bradley, Kellher, Brantwaite, Son, Porro, Haaland.

Looks like FH best option wanted to use for 37 for one final catch up push but looks like I’ll be burning the FT saved up..

Shame it doesn’t carry over. I can understand if only had 1 that wouldn’t carry over but if already banked one before the FH think carrying over would be fairer

Many of us had similar issues. Almost played my bench boost in GW34 as the team looked perfect.

      Bradley, Haaland flagged
      Toney unsure
Salah, Darwin, both not in form,...

Would be nice to have a mini WC now.

Havertz and VVD or Diaz and White? (Gw34 only)

First option, if you have Saliba or Gabriel

Who is more potent to get fine points?

    Cunha or VVD?

Cunha's points will be finer, VVD's will be scrappy.

That being said, Cunha if chasing (more upside), VVD if leading.

Interesting to see how Arsenal 2 defenders + 1 attacker vs 2 attackers + 1 defender holds up this week
