Big decision now, stick to the plan & try to get to 5FTs or bring in Eze for Gordon, the one move I consider a mistake now.

I’m pretty certain I won’t be wildcarding in GW4 now so may make the move and start rolling from next week.

What would you do? Bring Eze in and roll from next week or stick to the plan even though the wc4 move is off the table?

Plan for that strategy was to get to the WC with 4/5 FT in the bank.

Wouldn't surprise me if Gordon outscored Eze over the next few weeks. Can't judge him after a game where Newcastle played an hour with 10 men

I don't think you need to sell Gordon yet. More mins for match fitness and obviously the RC had a big impact on the blank.

I can't see that happening before the transfer window. Slot already said he wants to keep Diaz and have Gakpo for LW spot.

have no Haaland, and only players i want for next GW are Salah and TAA.

Nah I wouldn't do that. Salah could easily match Haaland on his own, and Havertz is a better asset than ESR. Then you've gotta factor in the fact you'll be starting on -4

Don't think City will go for somthing like a 5-0 result. They're happy with a couple of goals and a clean.

There is doubt everywhere, but no doubt about Man City hammering Ipswich. I have watched what they tried to do, but against City they will run out of steam and they will be subjected to a good thrashing (steamrolled) 🙂

                1 year, 11 months ago

I agree but fear you may be a tad biased 🙂

For me the other issue is if I stick then I'm tempted to bench Havertz anyway (1 of the 3 Arsenal) as I can see Brighton doing a number on my team Saturday.

                So who knows!

He is my 3rd. Hence the unwanted urgency. He seems done as an option and options at 4.5 are few and rapidly lessening with price changes for the 4.5 starters.

I think he starts. Was a tactical switch, no reason to think that puts Konate as the starter next week. He’ll play the big games.

Got cover in defence for Quansah though, so more focused on points than nailedness.

    Hendo
    Trent, Gabriel, Porro
    Salah, Saka, Eze, Gordon, Jota
    Isak, Solanke

Already have Robinson and toon defense (pope).

    A. Quansah for Chelsea 4.5 defender

    B. Solanke/quansah to muniz/gvadiol (-4)

Obviously, will wait til tomorrow but appreciate thoughts

Get a defender in or can risk it?

    1. Jolly Good

Can try to start quansah, barco first on bench and konsa last and risk that no one comes on for limited mins

I’d hold and start them in that order.
Konsa your emergency of neither play but probably won’t get more than 1 point.

I would take a hit and sell Quansah. You should get something back immediately. Hit means possibility to save and Quansah is a sell without injuries to other two.

I have the urge to Wildcard into this. I still don't know which 4.5 keeper would be best.

    4.5 Keeper
    Trent Hall Robinson
    Salah Eze Gordon Minteh
    Haaland Havertz Solanke

Well, he got into the box more than any other SOU defender so its relative..

5 attacking returns in EFL suggests he has some threat

Good luck with that. But also note how many goals they conceded in the Championship, if we're using data from there

Yeah just looking at options..don't like that 0.1 price drop, basically 0.5m at this stage...

Also looking at hitting him out for Trent, and Rogers for Gordon...

Any point changing Mykolanko to a United or Newcastle 4.5 defender? I am considering between Martinez or Hall

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years

That defender might not be so attractive by GW4. Can you bench Myko for GW2 and reassess?

I can easily, will play Harwood Taylor vs NFO. i wanted to hop on to Martinez or Hall as a long term prospect

    2. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years

Surely you chose Mykolenko as a long term rotation pick rather than set and forget pick? Dyche will at some point get the defence going again.

Yes i did, rotation Between Myko/Barco/Harwood. But things changed a bit, Barco non starter and Everton not looking good defensively. So why not change to a more reliable 4.5 from a better team, now that we know more, like Hall or Martinez or Fofana?

Interesting Fantasyfootballhub showing Mazraoui as price locked:
    https://www.fantasyfootballhub.co.uk/fantasy-premier-league-price-rises

    FPLstatistics not though
    https://www.fplstatistics.com/Home/IndexASmart2

    ...but FPLstatistics do say themselves:

"Any new players added to the fantasy league will not immediately increase (or decrease) in price. A player must have been in the league for over eight days before transfers count towards the threshold value. This locking period can be extended to the start of a new Gameweek if the completion of the eight days period falls within an international break."

...and they were added to the game 4 days ago: https://x.com/ManUtd/status/1823692789252571477
