You could still end up with only Palmer starting trying to pick 15 from 42 , maybe if for the rest of the season you get double points from all Chelsea players with no Captains or other players allowed , prob still won't win FPL 🙂

Finding obscure loopholes and pushing the rules to the limits. Clearlake think they're being clever, but Barcelona have already shown what happens when you pull all these levers - eventually they run out, and you're burdened with a rebellious squad and billions in commitments for years to come.

The wage structure at Chelsea is incentive based. Our average wage is now 60k per week. Under Abramovic it was about 200k. Man Utd is about 120k, and Man City close to 150k.

That's why the likes of Kante, Mount, Havertz, Werner, Koulibaly, etc were disposed of. Sterling now being forced out for the same reason. Lukaku and Kepa will also finally be gone in this transfer window. Chilwell as well probably. Wouldn't be surprised if James goes next year if he doesn't stay fit.

We are slashing wages. This isn't a problem,

Getting away by signing 6 to 9 year contracts so the transfer fee is split into different periods and selling academy players like Gallagher that counts for pure profit so all prob above board but leaving such a mess long term

        1. Andy_Social
          • 14 Years
          2 years, 10 days ago

Academy players are no longer going to get into the first team to be showcased for big money sales. Instead we'll have more Sterlings - the club's highest-paid asset with 3 years left. No one (Saudis apart) will pay those wages - they have another Lukaku on their hands. So soon they'll have a dozen disgruntled Sterlings who are not wanted by anyone else and need paying. Not going to end well.

See above. Our average wages is now 60k per week, making it much easier to shift players. Agree about Sterling though. He might need to go on loan if he wants to play.

The reason why slots plays so centrally is because he is trying to create a centeral overload everywhere on in the pitch, so that they have more passing options and if they lose the ball they have more people close to the ball to press.

To Quansah owners who also own Robinson and a 4.0 defender who didn't start this past weekend. If it looks like Quansah is dropping before GW2 would it be better to do Quansah to a starting 4.0 def and then change either Johnson/Barco in a week or two as part of a 2FT move (assuming they don't drop either)?

Which single Spurs player would you punt on? I've got Solanke in FPL challenge atm but would you switch to Son or Porro?

Chels fans or general PL experts.... Is Felix a direct threat to Nkunku gametime? I'm assuming yes as CAM / no 10? Clearly 57min withdrawal on Sunday already not ideal, but it was City -so won't massively over-react to that. However if Felix, Neto and maybe even Dewsbury-Hall (?) (trusted by Maresca) are all competing for one space, then that doesn't feel great. Are people sticking or twisting?

No spare cash currently, so any replacement would have to be £6.5m or less. Most come with a reasonable caveat, especially as I'll need to start whoever it is every week.....

    A) Garnacho (started on bench)
    B) Smith Rowe (don’t want to have to play him every week)
    C) Rogers (worried about LT gametime)
    D) Kudus (could be interesting?)
    E) B Silva (Pep roulette, but ITFC next)
    F) Doku (Pep roulette, but ITFC next)
    G) Mac Allister (no idea if he starts every week?)
    H) Szoboszlai (differential + fix on his side, but consistency surely an issue?)
    I) Mitoma (Has been v effective in the past)

Wasn't Felix a bit rubbish last time in the Prem?

I like Szob, for what it's worth, but Nkunku could come good.

Interesting - he was my first pick (as a Jota / non-Salah owner) - given fixtures and general involvement watching him live on Sat.

"Chels fans or general PL experts.... Is Felix a direct threat to Nkunku gametime? "
I'm neither of the above, but I am an Nkunku owner. I'd say JF is indeed a direct threat. I'm doing nothing for now and hope Kunkers gets a run at the upcoming jammy fixtures. I'll monitor the situation. i have Rogers who can step up but that doesn't help if Kunkers starts for under 60 mins or comeson as a sub. Ask again after the Inty Break.

Yes he his. But the flip side of that is that Nkunku could end up playing up front instead of Jackson, with Felix in the hole behind him. But who knows. It's a minefield atm as far as Chelsea attackers go.
