    I was half-expecting a 2-word article:
    Erling Haaland

In your defense, it wouldve been a pretty accurate article if it was.

For me that would have looked like this:

No idea if true but jeez!

    https://x.com/LastWordOnSpurs/status/1826758147543105880

Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Dominic Solanke did NOT train on Thursday at Hotspur Way amid concerns of the player sustaining an injury.

Solanke never missed a game for Bournemouth last season in the Premier League.

The change % is definitely adjusted this season so... I'm 2-0 & at 20 minutes before the change, neither player was set to rise ahead of the GW2 deadline.

Fair points both that they were top, but at 3am (30 before the change), they showed 80-something %, and 2 days to go up. Not complaining, but we had drops earlier that people said weren't obvious too.

Annoying that Havertz rose but with the signing of Calafiori & Merino, double defence is the way to go.

That defence is going to be even harder to breakdown (& that’s without talking about the return of Timber)

I went into the Arsenal triple-up & double defence knowing full well that Havertz won't be an option as a result, but my hope is no other team provides nailed defenders who can compete, and that another forward on penalties will emerge who can compete with Havertz for similar money.

We didn't spend a lot of money on highly rated LB to stay on the bench and Digne is on big wages so wouldn't 100% rule out him leaving if say Saudi bid came in

Hi, any thoughts on Son > KDB?

Son's next 3: EVE, new, ARS
KDB's next 3: IPS, whu, BRE

Feels like asking for trouble moving anyone ahead of Everton at home... but it's IPS at home and then two better fixtures. I can just pretend Son was a GW1 punt.

I'm holding Son for another game week (have KDB). Toffee defence is wobbly with Young out and Tarkowski a doubt. Holgate is dire. But since you have Solanke and no City – I'd be tempted! Many fancy Foden – who should start – though his minutes are a question...

Just the 14 senior players available for Everton. Makes me think they are the weakest team this gw not Ipswich. Yet, I feel Spurs will find a way to disappoint…would say keep Son if you don’t have Solanke.

Unsure if it has been mentioned already but Solanke missed training. It was seen as a precautionary measure so he doesn’t get injured.

    D: Saliba, Gvardiol, Porro, Dalot
M: Gordon, Fernandes, Palmer, Garnacho, Eze

    Need to bench 1 D and 1 M, or 2 M. Who goes?

    Current defence
    Gvardiol Quansah Mykolenko Anderson Barco.
    0.0m itb.

What can I do here lads? Quansah dropping really screwed my plan. Was going to do Quansah to Robinson. Anderson going to Fulham and Barco not starting = Disaster. Thinking of just letting this roll for gw2 and assessing for gw3. My mids and Forwards are good so hoping they pull me out.
    Thoughts or ideas please chaps??

Good to go with this? On Wildcard

    Sanchez
    TAA Lewis Robinson
    Saka Foden Jota Eze Minteh
    Haaland Havertz

    4.0 Livramento Bellis Cannon

Not entirely convinced on him either, could go for Henderson instead but prefer not to waste a Palace slot on GK.

          Mine is similar.
Still flip flopping between a couple of players like GK and Eze/Jota and their possible replacements

          Hend
          TAA Robinson Harw-Bellis
          Saka Foden Jota Eze
          Haaland Havertz Muniz

Jota did inc in price, but going on history he is a trsfr waiting to happen and I think they won't have it easy vs brentford so I might take him out

With risky xmins players like Lewis and Jota, your bench is too thin for my liking.

Man Utd vs Liverpool, Bruno will get a return in that game. Can't sell Rogers atm. Saka, Eze potentially season keepers.

Think there are plenty of good options at 6.5 or less...
ESR, garnacho, szoboszlai, Brighton mid, b. Silva/doku (short term) or even rice

Saying that I own both nkunku and Rogers and I'm playing nkunku

      1. trequartista

ESR need to see more of. Think he takes time to build fitness and get going. He's hardly played recently, but could be a good option yes.

It's not about his FPL prospects which I don't think are particularly good. It's more about how he fits within Arsenals tactical system. It seems like the perfect signing.
