Hilarious that in 2 weeks Palmer has gone from not in ffs/twitter crowd teams to better captain option than Haaland..

Don’t think he’ll get easier assists this seas than the ones to Madueke against Wolves.

It was training group warm up game display.

          I have bought him though:)
Purely because got fed up with Bruno Fernandes, it’s not even his lack of points it’s his demeanour- can’t stand it 🙂 especially when there is no returns.

Waiting until after the international break to sort out obvious issues.

For GW3, is the bench right?

    Flekken
    TAA Gabriel Munoz
    Rogers Jota Saka ESR CHO
    Haaland (C) Isak (V)

    Subs: Sanchez Mazraoui Solanke Barco

Konsa is just a stop gap until I release Davis who is the player i am most excited about owning. Couldn't really ask for a better next 4 fixtures for a Konsa punt tbh. He can become a 4.0 come Gw 6 if davis impresses/will swap out for Guehi/Myko/Martinez etc around then. Will be swapping that 4.5 spot around based on fixtures and form basically

Yup. TAA is enough of a compromise for me. One of my main priorities WCing was him. I am considering Robertson for Gabriel for 3 weeks to get a bit of extra pool attack though

    3. Albrightondknight

I like it. Similar to mine I just have Salah where you have Saka. Which means you get Gabriel where I have Robinson. And I have no bench and you have Pedro.
Don’t think I will risk no Liverpool for the next few weeks though.
Eze could be great but about .5 would at least get Jota

      1. Valar(Keith)
        • 16 Years
        2 years, 1 day ago

Apart from Pedro literally every single player in my team is nailed to start for their clubs. I'm WCing so want zero risk.. and jota post international break falls in that rotation/risk category. Taa + Robertson is an intriguing short term compromise though

Yeah but I kinda like you have Raya and Gabriel in early. Then again Robinson to Gabriel would be an easy change in a few weeks.
We all had 2 Arsenal defence last year. Can’t see that changing much this year.

People often treat WC as a “get out of jail free” card, using it to put down fires thus not gaining much just steadying the ship.

Using it early, from position of power to further strengthen you squad and maximise returns is not a bad concept at all.

      1. _Greg
        • 16 Years

Tbf for 15 years ive hoarded my WC and ended up wasting it in december since I have to use it. I think ever since the 2nd WC rule came in hoarding the 1st WC isn't needed. Using it early helps build squad value and fix a lot of fires and with the new 5 ft rule it could even help build a transfer buffer.. for example my WC team barring injury would let me save 3 to 4 transfers over the next month(theoreticallly).. following which I plan on using 1/2 transfers a week and always store my buffer in my back pocket hence mitigiating injury risks. No real need of a WC considering that is now possible

Quick thoughts on this WC draft?
    4.5, 4.5 rotating gks
    TAA, Konsa, Robinson, Milenkovic, Faes
    Salah, Saka, Palmer, ESR, Rogers
    Watkins, Havertz, Pedro

If i go with a 4.5 & 4.0 gk I can make Havertz to Isak.
Or downgrade TAA to Robbo and get Raya as a set and forget gk?

    1. MADCHESTER UTD
      • 11 Years

Havertz to Muniz means you can keep TAA and get Raya. Then a 4.0 keeper and MITB

  12. Valar(Keith)

Hmm.. now that Villa didn't buy a RB, Diego Carlos has a knock(and so konsa can't go RB) and Cash is out for atleast the next 2 fixtures.. maybe a punt on Nedeljkovic is warranted. He will defo start this week.. it should be an easy enough game for him to not mess up and maybe start the next few too. Post GW6 I wouldn't really want to own a villa defender so would sell konsa either way at that point. So a punt on Nedeljkovic actually makes sense

Yup. Going to set my defense up as

Nedel plays 2 GWs and id release davis and mykolenko by gw5 when their goof fixtures actually begin

02:30 – Jadon Sancho (Chelsea to Manchester United, loan)

Am I reading that right in the article? No wonder Man Utd have issues if they are loaning in players already on their books.

    Or is FFS gaslighting me?

      I don't get it.

It's like they are trading match attack cards.

Bonkers. In which world is Sancho better than the multiple options they already have.

Nkunku --> ESR (FT) or Save FT?

    Henderson
    P.Porro -- Gabriel -- Hall
    Saka -- D.Jota -- Gordon -- Nkunku*
    Muniz -- Haaland -- Isak

    Valdimarsson -- Sangaré -- Quansah -- W.Faes [1FT + 0.0m ITB]

Nkunku to ESR. You could maybe use your wildcard soon with hall, nkunku, quansah as problems.

Who to bench? Armstrong or Minteh? Don’t feel hopeful for returns from either

Palmer. Definetly a great asset. But how people choose to captain him over Haaland is beyond me. The world has never seen such a goal scoring predator. He plays for City. Penalties. Chelsea much more of a hit or miss team. City a bigger favourite in their match against West Ham than Chelsea home vs Palace according to all bookies. Why at this point choose a less reliable captain when you have the best striker of all time in your squad. Be wise. Haaland (C).
