Nice one! Will have to do a big hitter table as well. First I have to repent for clicking on a Blue Sky link.

Bring in Palmer and maybe an Arsenal attacker. Probably downgrade Trent. He can be a differential going forward tough..

How do you rate this play?

    GW12; Garnacho --> Bruno -4
    GW13; Solanke --> Pedro / Welbeck
    GW14; Mbeumo --> Saka.

    Need to take a hit somewhere for this, but actually like it. Team looks like this. 0FT, 4M itb;

    Raya
Hall - Gabriel - Dalot (Lewis - Faes)
    Salah - Palmer - Garnacho - Mbeumo - Rogers
    Solanke - Cunha (Wood)

Turns out this season wasn’t a bad dream after all. Revisiting the scene after last gameweek’s car crash to find myself down at 2.5m OR.

Cursing myself for deciding against Bruno at the last moment last time out. Nothing to lose now so might take a -8 this week:
Haaland, Dibling, Johnson > Evanilson, Salah, Bruno

    1FT 2.5ITB
    Sels
    TAA* Gabriel Mykolenko
    Palmer* Mbeumo* Johnson Rogers
    Haaland Solanke Cunha

    4.0 Lewis Dibling Greaves*

Johnson + Solanke to Bruno + Jao Pedro for a -4? Haaland has the potential to match or outscore Salah this week, I think you can do without Salah this week and assess after Man City. Sometimes you have to keep fingers crossed. Ideally want Palmer but cannot afford this week to take hits to get him. I just have to hope that some differentials may outscore or match him while i try to fit him in in a week or 2.

Yes, depends on your team value but i think Trent + Mbeumo can give you a cheap defender and Salah after Man City. You can start by ditching Trent for the City game for someone like Hall and then get Salah in for Mbeumo. Try the moves prior and see what you can afford

Not exactly rumoured but there's some doubt/discussion about it since he played this morning so will be among the latest of the IB returnees to training. In (editor) Tom's article the other day he said "with Mexico in action in the early hours of Wednesday morning, I doubt he’ll start" and planned to bench him

You have a lot of talent and a little money on the bench. I can't see a third sub ever being needed this season and probably not a second one. Plus the decisions, Lewis and Konsa could easily keep clean sheets this weekend.

Who do you see as the best max 5.1 def moving forward?

    A) RAN
    B) Hall
    C) Veltman
    D) Digne
    E) Kerkez
    F) Colwill

    Have Robinson and Mazraoui

For clean sheets probably Colwill? But he's not going to get many attacking returns

Villa have 3 home games in 4 against kind opposition but they seem top rarely keep a cleans sheet int he league this season.

The rest again don't keep too many clean sheets so for attacking returns it could be Nouri?

I've got 3FTs and I'm happy to lose the Spurs players. I was planning on WC this week but actually this team isn't too bad.

I'm lacking Chelsea players which is a concern.

Could do Kulu, Porro & Wood for Neto, Digne , Isak?

    Any other suggestions welcomed!

Great moves. No need for wildcard. Don't you think you might need Palmer or you want to cover his points with Neto and use Saka as differential as almost everyone will be owning Palmer soon? Trent is an easy sell for the upcoming weeks and see if he improves his attacking output.

      1. Vjm6891
        • 5 Years
        1 year, 16 days ago

Sadly I can't do Palmer and Isak and I think the latter has hit form, but i agree without Palmer is a risk.....!

Maybe naively, I think Saka will get scoring soon too...

I might just have to wait a few weeks and get Palmer in for Bruno (or Wildcard!)

Palmer has been a flat track bully i think the best you can do is leave him for game after international break. Chelsea have an early kick-off and usually the player expected to get more points vs low teams is nulified. He has Aston Villa next of which you can go without. But with Soton after and teams following ranked in the FDR for 2 and below, Palmer becomes a rank killer as a non-owner. Luckily i have been making right moves after his 25 pointer that almost destroyed my rank. He can go mega haul

The International break meant nothing to Palmer as he stayed at home working on his fitness. As a result, he'll be well rested for the Leicester game. I'd advise players who want him - if it suits their means - to get him.

He is an easy buy if budget permits and no pressing issues. I wouldn't get for hits this game week unless there is a possibility of being priced out. He is also a good captain shout in game week 13 when Salah and Haaland meet

  12. Els365
    • 3 Years

The Saka, Salah, Palmer, Bruno/Mbeumo template with Isak and Cunha/Wissa/Pedro Haaland-less team becoming too popular. Can't wait for Haaland to start putting teams to the sword to break it.

Yes I am sticking. Have Salah too. Trying to fit Palmer in too to get the 3 big hitters. I hope some cheapies will cover Saka's points. Don't trust other cheap fowards

Haaland could easily get loads of points this week, like any other week.

I did Haaland to Salah a few weeks ago, purely on fixtures and so I could upgrade a player or 2.

Continuing with the Haaland/Salah/Palmer, don't think it's worth changing any of them to Saka at the moment.

Also have Cunha, Raul, Mbeumo, Morgan and Semenyo, considering Raul to Pedro next week after ditching VdV this week.

Original plan was to WC in 12. But as Mbeumo Wissa Bruno have good fixtures in 12/13 and Wood has a good fixture in 13 I am thinking of delaying WC until need it. Means -4 on Son to Palmer (see him as important to get) and Trent to Virgil -4 - would you

    A WC
B -4 on Trent Son to Virgil Palmer
C B plus additional -4 for Solanke to Isak

    Raya
    Gabriel Virgil* Robinson
Salah Palmer* Bruno F Mbeumo Rogers

Cheers, yes I think I am set on avoiding WC but may get Hall ahead of Virgil which opens door for either Mbeumo or Bruno to Saka in 14.

Like front line in 13 of Wood (IPS) Wissa (LEI) and Pedro (SOU)

Biggest misses not playing WC is no Isak home to West Ham and no Wolves (but not sure RAN Cunha fixtures that good next couple)

Sold Salah for Palmer in GW7 wildcard to save 1.9m as them and Saka were all neck and neck at the time and I had no flexibilty owning the two big guys. My new recruits Solanke and Gvardiol have done ok, but capping Haaland instead of Salah has killed me. Tempted to switch him back in... But Haaland could do well v Spurs at the same time. Whatever I do will be wrong!

What do you think about Mbeumo. Have had him on a wildcard since game week 3 at a cost of 7 million. He has been a steady stream of points including all of his double-digit returns. Have since gained 0.9. Do you think he is a season keeper or could do with a switch to someone of similar price or under? If so any recommendations apart from Bowen whom i am a big fan but he has been a big troll

Would you do Mbeumo > Saka for free to have the four big hitters? Team would be:

    Flekken
    Ait-Nouri / Mykolenko / Lewis
    Saka / Palmer / Salah / Rogers
    Haaland / Pedro / Cunha

    Fabianki / Davis / Carvalho / Greaves

Saka can wait until Mbeumo has played Leicester imo. Forest don't tend to be heavily beaten re: getting Saka now.

How I wish I could afford all 4. Your defence is a bit weak. A sub-par performance from 2 or more of the heavy hitters and clean sheets for top clubs can kill your rank as likely everyone is geared towards th3 3 at least. F.O.M.O can sometimes get the best of us. Great team though. Lewis maybe a concern. I'd get a Man Utd or Newcastle defender for him and stick

    I’m worried about not owning:
    1) Haaland
    2) Bruno
    3) Isak
    4) Rogers
    5) Konate

    What to do?

Have you got 5 free transfers by any chance?

From the above, i guess the only worry should be Haaland. Don't forget most of us started with Isak and he trolled us big time. Bruno will bring in a steady stream of points at best, I think. Don't see him as an explosive option. Surely you can't have them all. FPL is a patience game.

    Glad we're finally back!

Man utd getting hyped a lot because of their latest recruit... Let's see how that fares!
Expecting them to be exciting in attack & still crap in defence, their wing-backs are probably the best options to pick.

So much fun coming our way , I am also expecting Arteta & Pep to struggle to maintain form.

Thoughts on Haaland and Stewart > Jackson and Isak (-4) ? Would bench Johnson this game week then before shipping to Saka following week

    Had salah haaland palmer.
    Still sold haaland.
Now i am thinking it was a mistake. As trent is injured and i already had salah palmer, i Shouldn’t have sold haaland.

I can smell a hatty against spurs
