    Raya
    TAA*, Ait Nouri, Robinson
    Salah, Palmer, Mbeumo, Rogers
    Haaland, Wood, Raul

    (Fabianski, Winks, Harwood-Bellis, Greaves*) 3FT + 0 itb

    Thoughts on the following plan:

    GW12: Haaland + Winks + TAA > Cunha + Fernandes + Konate
    GW13: Mbeumo > Saka
    GW14: Wood / Raul > Isak

Would you sell him for a hit if you didn't own Palmer? Palmer scares me the most as a non-owner, even though I doubt I can stomach selling Haaland for a hit.

I wouldn't no, Palmer is great but if he has been nursing a knock he may come off if Chelsea are a goal or two up by 70 mins.

Unless you want to captain Palmer I wouldn't bring him for a hit.

If he’s coming off after 70 minutes and Chelsea are 2 up then the likelihood is Palmer has had a hand in both goals and already on for all 3 BAPs.

Sure I can but I feel I've given him plenty of chances already haha

    Flekken
    Ait-Nouri, Gabriel, Lewis
    Mbuemo, Palmer, Rogers, Son
    Haaland, Cunha, Solanke

    Fab, L.Davis, Carvalho, Greaves

Feel team is a bit of a mess...and having my worst start ever.
Shoud i just take a -8 to sort out?

    Which would you do?

    a) Solanke > Jackson (free)
    b) Solanke & Son > Bruno & Isaak (-4)
    c) Solanke & Son & Haaland > Jackson & Salah & Isaak (-8)

At some point he’s going to haul again, for sure, and that could be this week.

But the fact remains that at £15m+ he seriously affects the rest of your team.

You also have to consider points per million as well. Every Haaland goal comes at a premium nearly double what an Isak goal is worth. Technically he needs to do almost twice as well as Isak every week to justify that price.

The value diminishes when you put it into that perspective.

If you want Haaland then have him and enjoy his points, but accept that you’re also going to miss out on hauls from at least one of Saka, Palmer and Salah on a regular basis too.

      My guess.

      Mazraoui-Casemiro-Ugarte-Dalot/Garnacho
      Bruno-Diallo
      Højlund

      1. x.jim.x

Not sure Mainoo id ready to start tbh and Rashford doesn't really fit in Amorims setup from what he wants from a CF(pressing from the front and some hold up play).

          1. x.jim.x
            • 11 Years

I was just talking in general really, not this weekend. We've seen Rashford up front in training, and Hojlund's hardly setting the world on fire so wouldn't surprise me to see him start (for the short-term at least)

Well in general Mainoo would start yeah. Rash and Højlund will probably rotate. Zirksee might play behind (or just get sold).

Probably because they saw Amorim setup with him as WB during training this week, but that's just because other players where away.

Has there been any indication in either the press conference or online etc. that Sanchez will be dropped for Jorgensson? I have been reading these rumours for a couple of weeks but want to know if it is confirmed or if there is additional information implying one way or the other

It’s one of the other, really, though, isn’t it?

If both haul you’re going to miss out on one of them at the other’s expense.

Plus the fact that you can’t have them all, so you’re going to have to forego at least one of the big hitters because of budget constraints that affect every FPL manager.

Just pick your premium and accept you can’t have them all.

I'm 60/40 probably keeping Haaland. I'd have to do it for a hit too and it's hard to justify selling one of the top 2 assets in the game for a hit for a decent fixture too.

Whatever move I make this week needs to keep open the option of selling Haaland next week if it looks like City's malaise is long term. But it makes sense to give him/City one more chance against a weak Spurs defence at home.

You have to think with that team news for Southampton, bad defence anyway but in the managers words two of their better options out, surely cements the armband on Salah in what could have been a tricky week for captaincy. Ramsdale down to McCarthy is quite the downgrade as well to be fair.

Thing is for those of us debating swapping Haaland for Salah (even for a hit) this week is that the next 2 Fixtures are City (home) and New (away). Even the following at Eve (a) is historically tight.

    1. Drizzle
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

If it weren't for the Southampton fixture I wouldn't even be tempted. Fixtures are mixed and no better than Haaland's.

      1. Sir Michael Taker
        • 11 Years
        1 year, 4 months ago

I think if that's the only decision you're making i.e. you are selling Haaland to get Salah then I'd agree neither of them have very good fixtures after this week. But its likely for most they are doing it to free up some cash to upgrade somebody else too and when Haaland/Salah is probably a close match over the next few weeks, the upgraded player could be a massive difference in points.

        1. Drizzle

True. For me I also have Trent so I have cash cows elsewhere if I want to go up to an Isak, or from Bruno to Saka. I don't desperately need the extra money at this point.

          1. Sir Michael Taker
            • 11 Years
            1 year, 4 months ago

Yes I was going to say for most the only cash cows are likely to be Trent, Haaland, maybe Saka. Makes a lot more sense to sell Trent in that case although its a good fixture for them so guess you have to wait on team news?

            1. Sir Michael Taker
              • 11 Years
              1 year, 4 months ago

I think this case in point is a good example of why going too premium heavy isn't a great idea because you'll probably always have to sell one of them to make upgrades somewhere and it could be for a hit. Structure really suffers if you get too many of them.

Don't think worth losing Haaland for Salah.

Any thoughts on what to do here? £0.1m ITB, 2FT. Wanted to do TAA, Son -> Hall, Salah but £0.3m short

    Sanchez, 4.0
    TAA, Gabriel, RAN, Greaves, Faes
    Palmer, Son, Mbuemo, Semenyo, Rogers
    Haaland, Wood, Larsen

You could still do that by downgrading one of your other players like Wood, Sanchez or RAN? Or give yourself 3FT to play with following this weekend and more options will open up.

Bit of advice on which transfer to make as got 6 'yellows' at the moment.

    Verbruggen
    Pau Torres, Dalot, Robinson
    Paler, Salah, Mbeumo, McNeil, Rogers
    Haaland, Wood

Bench - Valdimarsson, Vardy, Collins, Greaves

    1 FT & 0.8 ITB
