CAPTAINCY POLL: TOP TWO ASSETS
Max Cleworth (D) – Wrexham
Wrexham’s second-highest Fantasy scorer, Max Cleworth (D), received 19% of the votes. The centre-back is in terrific form, averaging 8.3 points in 15 matches, totalling 125 points. Although their highest scorer, Eoghan O’Connell (D), has 127 points, he also has played two more matches than Cleworth.
Wrexham’s number four has been a vital cog in their successful campaign. His defensive prowess has been evident, contributing to 10 clean sheets in just 15 matches, including a strong four-game streak. Despite injury woes in goal, the Red Dragons have remained resolute. Offensively, he’s added four goals (+28) and an assist (+3) to his tally, showcasing his effectiveness as a goalscoring defender. Next up, Wrexham host bottom-placed Cambridge United. The U’s have struggled on the road, winning only once and scoring just five goals. A clean sheet seems likely for Wrexham.
Borja Sainz (F) – Norwich City
Despite blanking across their Double Gameweek 18 fixtures, Norwich’s Borja Sainz (F) is also the joint-leader in the poll with 19% of votes.
The winger’s incredible form has seen him rack up 15 goals and three assists in just 20 matches, earning him a massive 149 points. With two hat-tricks to his name, he’s the most prolific attacker in the EFL. His consistent performances have made him a regular fixture in this poll, regardless of the opposition.

The Canaries face Burnley, who drew both of their Double Gameweek 18 fixtures, at Carrow Road on Saturday. Nevertheless, the Clarets are seven matches unbeaten and have only conceded seven goals all season. Although the Canaries are more potent at home than on the road, we’re not thrilled by Sainz wearing the armband this weekend.
THE 9.5% CLUB
Four names make up the 9.5% club this week: Birmingham’s Jay Stansfield (F), Cheltenham’s Ethon Archer (M), Walsall’s Nathan Lowe (M), Gustavo Hamer (M) of Sheffield United and Middlesbrough’s Finn Azaz (M).
Jay Stansfield
The League One record signing for the Blues returns to the list. He’s scored nine goals and two assists in 12 matches, totalling 78 points. Notably, the number 28 has scored five goals in his previous five league games and is nailed on for minutes in Chris Davies’ side. They take on Bristol Rovers (H) on Saturday, who have struggled away from home.

Ethon Archer
Cheltenham’s number 22 has been excellent for the Robins, scoring five and assisting five in 19 matches, totalling 113 points. He’s got less than 1% ownership, despite being the highest-scoring attacking Fantasy player in League Two. They take on 23rd-placed Morecambe (H), who, although have performed better away from home, have conceded 34 goals this season – the most in the division.
Nathan Lowe
League leaders Walsall have been flying, and are nine games unbeaten in League Two. Stoke City loanee Lowe has been outstanding and has scored nine goals and assisted five in just 16 matches. He’s bagged 103 points for his efforts and is the most productive attacker in League Two this season. The Sadlers face Barrow (H) on Saturday, who although have only conceded 17 goals this season, have seen nine on their travels.
Gustavo Hamer
The Sheffield United man has four goals and four assists from the middle of the park in 18 matches, and has also secured 12 interceptions, bagging 97 points. He’s returned in his previous four games and will be looking to bag another return at The Den on Wednesday. In Gameweek 19, the Blades face 23rd-placed Plymouth Argyle, who have been dire away from home.

Finn Azaz
Finally, Boro’s number 20 has been excellent this campaign for Michael Carrick, scoring six goals and bagging eight assists, totalling 130 points in 19 matches. The Republic of Ireland international takes on Millwall on Saturday for Neil Harris’ final game in charge of the Lions. The attacking midfielder has hauled in his previous two home matches and will be hoping for further returns.
