Is it time to give up on double Arsenal defence?

I have Timber, Rogers, Bruno, TAA & Salah

So if the Liverpool vs Man Utd game is off, I’ll be down to 9.

Was hoping to roll my transfer but feel like that might not be the best option now…

    Thoughts?

Yeh was thinking that’s probably the best move considering their relatively tricky run.

        Castagne or Cash perhaps

        Yeh could also do:
        Bruno > Gordon/Mbeumo
        Timber > Castagne/Cash

Would be a -4 but might be beneficial long term anyway?

      Same 5 potential miss
      Flekken
      TAA, Gabriel, Andersen
      Salah, Palmer, Enzo, Bruno
      Isak, Jackson, Pedro

      Verbruggen, Hall, Rogers(*), Timber(*)
      1FT, 0.4 ITB
      Still undeciding for
      a) Timber --> Munoz to cover bench if LIV-MUN call off (still not cover all 3 miss)
      b) Bruno --> Gordon (actually bought Bruno for Saka and he got -2 and banned)
      c) Both for -4

I know this is speculation but it could pass, I've got cover for Salah and Diaz but with Onana and Fab I'd be down to no goalkeeper.

I'd sell Onana for a hit if I knew that were to be the case.

What would you do in the next hour or so today?

Onana to Pickford for a hit?

It's more about fixing that spot than this week's points in a way.

Have to say I am less confident this morning about the LIV game going ahead on Sunday. Milder air from the south now looks unlikely to make it that far north and, whilst overnight snow is still predicted to turn to rain on Sunday morning, conditions look quite marginal with snow probably continuing over higher ground (away from Merseyside) and also a risk of freezing rain, at least for a time - which could all add up to some very tricky travelling conditions throughout Sunday. I think conditions at Anfield in the afternoon will be okay for the match itself, but whether it gets called off due to transport problems is another matter.

      I agree

It's a question of if the ice freezes with sleet

If it's a heavy snow fall it could be a wipe out

Where I am is a lot warmer on Sunday than today, that's not the case in Liverpool according to the forecast...

      It looks in doubt.

Atm I would say a 25% chance of going ahead. I do think public transport - and roads in general - around Merseyside and Greater Manchester will be bad on Sunday morning and that will be the ecidng factor.

Your manager needs to win 3 games.

Preferably against teams 5 places higher up for more bonus points.

He'll cost £0.5m, £1m or £1.5m of your budget and is one of your 3 team spots.

The first selection is a FT, any subsequent manager transfer costs a FT and no other chips can be deployed in those 3 gws.

So you select a manager and it’s 3 games then out?

Therefore Onana to Pickford for -4?

I'd have no choice with Fab out and to avoid a hit.

I like all of the last four. If I had to pick one I’d go for Kepa

I decided to do WC, but I have doubts about
Diaz and Kepa. What are your thoughts friends?

    Kepa
    Gabriel - Aina - Robinson
    Salah (c) - Palmer - Diaz - Gordon
Isak (vc) - Wood - Raul

    Fabianski* - Hall - Har-Bellis - Rogers*

    ———
    I have now:

    Sanches - Fabianski*
    Gabriel - Hall - Lewis - Robertson - Faes
    Salah - Palmer - Diaz - Enzo - Rogers*
    Isak - Watkins - Cunha

Jota is back, I don't know if he is a 100% fit but he did score last week. Diaz & Gakpo will be sharing minutes even if they do end up starting. Mbuemo maybe?

If you WC now I’d defo look at Trent and Pickford to prepare for dgw and not have to waste ft’s on that. I like Trent over Gabriel in the short term and would choose Pickford over Kepa if you can make it work money wise

Anyone considering Palmer out? Seems a bit hot and cold. Whilst he is class, his price v consistency is frustrating

Chelsea have been a little off of late but with less fixture congestion they should be expected to improve

With Haaland and Saka out, I don't see where I'd spend the money.

Yeah I was thinking about it but more because I think Mo's perma cap now. But then nobody needs the money and hes still the next best option in the game albeit Mo's in another postcode
