I'm not sure about playing Emery assistant manager and have three Liverpool players. Will there be a better double game week to play assistant manager?

Maybe not a better dgw but certainly better weeks to play it for the league table bonus which for me is a higher ceiling than an additional game

375 is the leading baseline bonus points (BBPS) score, currently held by Brentford’s Nathan Collins (£4.5m).

A bit of insight on why this is (pass completion? CBIs?) would have been useful.

      A valid point, taken!

It is indeed largely due to CBI (Collins currently fourth if you sort by that, after Murillo, Tark and Bednarek).

Also does reasonably / variably well on all of: Goals, Winning Goals, Mins, Pass Completion, Recoveries and Shots on Target.

I'm likely saving it .not definite but i don't think villa beat pool and maybe they score 1 goal it's effectively 3 singles with 27 not being a great time to play it for the last week.

If I was going to play it I would probably just put in on Bournemouth manager and leave it or Brighton if I was in a table bonus mood as I think they can beat Chelsea

    Best Bournemouth asset guys?

    A) Kluivert
    B) Dango
    C) Semenyo

Money no issue, may double up with kerkez next week or maybe triple up + kerkez. I just need one this week from the above and I can’t decide which.

Was all on Kluivert but I hear he’s expecting a baby so may not play?

Having just used TC on Salah, was thinking of Using AM on Slot. After the double, Pool have a couple of tricky fixtures with City and Newcastle. Do you think there will be a better time to use my AM chip later in the season?

You can change AM for the cost of a transfer.
Later could be better for bonus ladder points.

I think there will definitely be a better AM opportunity, it depends on your remaining chips. Are you prepared to use Bench Boost in a single gameweek?

      1. evilfish
        • 10 Years
        1 year, 2 months ago

Have all my chips other than TC. I'm prepared to BB in a SGW. but would rather use it in a double. I could use Slot for the double and then transfer but nobody really stands out.

        1. Yozzer
          • 8 Years
          1 year, 2 months ago

The problem with BB on a double is if you play it in gw36 you need to use money on your bench and it stays there. BB is always underwhelming in a dgw. Look at City's fixtures. More money to invest in Haaland the better.

      Assistant manager Slot now

Rest depends when the DGW fall but I'm thinking

      Wildcard 30, 31, or 32
GW33 BB (if GW34 blanks are moved to that GW)
GW34 FH (when most/all the DGW players from GW33 blank)

Of course and if you think Villa can draw or beat pool then this is the right time for you , before the event. After the event will dictate if it was or not obviously.

I see better opportunities down the line and another advantage is by then I'll know where I stand. I will know if I need to take risks or play safe depending on rank/ mini league position. City have great fixtures and maybe a double in gw36. I'm relying on them improving by then though. I can leave it on Pep with no need for transfers. Or if I'm behind I can have some fun taking shots on teams fighting for relegation Vs teams who have nothing to play for

Really fancied chasing a few of these AM table bonus points as 30 points behind in mini league and Emery got potential this week but there’s not many options in following weeks 26 and 27.

If spurs get players back and who knows even a new manger, wondering if spurs manager could do well in weeks 28- 30?

    Week 28: h Bou
    Week 29: a Ful
    Week30: move to Man U v Forrest

All might have bonus points potential (guess it is unreliable spurs though)

      • 4 Years

I'm keeping my mind open on Spurs, certainly one of the main candidates who could pull off some underdog-bonus wins. Would like to see a bit more form first though, ideally. If you're getting Ange for that timeframe I'd stick for 30; think the wheels are coming off at Chelsea & not keen on Man Utd v Forest

He’s a doubt but slot has done the right thing there

As there is doubt surround Trent he doesn’t want his backup being injured too for the derby. They will monitor Trent and if he’s good to go he will start, if not they have a player who hasn’t been risked during a cup game

If Trent was fit Bradley was 100 percent starting this but he simply can’t in this case

Difference between PL and Championship on show there. Blackburn been the marginally better side, unlucky disallowed goal but two chances for Wolves and iys probably tie over. On an FPL note, no Ait-Nouri today (benched) in what looks close to full team except a keeper swap. Agbadou or whatever his name is probably the best 4.0 ish defender in the game now? They do look more solid under Pereira.

Still not fully decided, but Isak>Watkins is not a bad move. He has Ipswich.

Isak doesn’t have good fixtures anyway.

If he's fit and not missing big chances

I started the season with Watkins and it wasn't brilliant, he did well against Everton, Ipswich and Fulham but it's not a bed of roses.

Is it worth bringing in another villa player?

Finding it tough who to bench for Rogers.

    A. Palmer
    B. Mbuemo
    C. Kluivert
    D. Isak
    E. Wissa

    Thanks

You've got to ask if you'd be bringing in Villa for Ipswich with that run that follows.

I see the short term attraction, but a 0-2 Liverpool win and the hits fall flat ...

So, activating Asist Manager on Arnie was pretty good move. Double gw24, double gw25 and gw26...
