In his latest article, two-time Indian Fantasy Premier League (FPL) champion Lateriser speaks about his own team’s dilemmas, regarding Cody Gakpo (£7.6m), Amad Diallo (£5.5m), captaincy and the Assistant Manager chip.

There are a fair few forced decisions for FPL managers this week. I have several to make myself, which I’d like to discuss.

Like many, I have a few injuries to deal with. Amad is likely out for the season and Gakpo will cut it close in regards to Sunday’s trip to Manchester City, according to Arne Slot.

I also have the decision of whether to pick a new Assistant Manager or stick with Unai Emery. Since I’m struggling at a lowly 860k rank, I need to push the pedal a fair bit. Which is why I’m going to take a third high-ceiling shot at accumulating 20+ points.
