      I think 30-33

GW31-33, but its not without risks if you have other chips like WC and BB

Got them all haha. I’ve not had time this year to look

31-33 seems good with new/cpl dgw32 and the slight possibility (TBC) of NEW having a further DGW33 if they get through to the FA cup Semi.

Not now if you are considering FH29 - keep in mind it locks you out of other chips for 3 GWs

Yeah. No idea when I’ll play it now.

31-3 is a good suggestion, catching 2 DGWs. If not something like 35-7 seems fine too

Yeah. Means I can’t play BB or WC around then?

Yeah. WC30 is popular to setup AM31-3 or BB33. I think GW33 will be turn out to be the only one where you can actually have a squad full of doublers (+ Salah I guess), but AM is a pretty powerful chip too. So I think the crux of the decision is whether AM that includes DGWs 32 & 3 is stronger than BB33

    Hi all.
Would you do Gakpo to Beto or Cunha for free this week?

Won't FH29 so would give me a good step in getting 11 players. Alternatively I could roll FT and play him against SOU.

    Cheers.

I understand the appeal of holding Gakpo for Southampton.

Just bear in mind he could potentially get rested in that game with PSG home and away either side of that fixture.

Personally, I'd make the trade to Cunha.

Morning all. Worth shifting either Mateta or Wood > Cunha or stick? Can’t bring myself to lose Isak in the form he’s in given how much it’ll cost to bring him back in after GW29

    1. agueroooooney
      • 11 Years

I don't think you can ditch Mateta, people are trying to bring him in not ship him out.

Hard to say with Wood, Cunha probably better short term but it's a gamble.

I think we could see Newcastle start with 3/5 ATB WB setup against Liverpool, same setup against Arsenal in EFL Cup

    Back 5:
    Livramento/Trippier Schar Botman Burn Hall

"Sven is improving and improving quickly, we will see if he makes the game or not, he will be close."

Is Bowen (C) too risky over the likes of Palmer and Salah?

I got burnt last week with Kluivert (C)

    1. Steve McCroskey
      • 12 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I think if you want to go different it's Palmer this week. Bowen would be my third choice though, definitely.

      1. Bobby_Baggio
        • 15 Years

Yea brain is saying its a silly move - agree palmer should be the differential for (C)

    2. Boberella
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I would just assume Salah is getting around 15points every week and base your decision on whether you genuinely see Bowen or Palmer bettering that.

    3. Tonyawesome69
      • 7 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I don't think you need to take the risk with captaincy on Bowen, should be decent gains with less than 10% ownership

    4. Boberella
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

I also think Palmer is either 2 or 20 this week, so could be worth the risk.
Can’t see Bowen getting more than 2 returns at best most weeks.

Having big trouble to decide what to do with Gakpo, keep until gw29 and hope he plays and haul against Southampton, or sell for Cunha and instead hoping for Gakpo to produce nothing..

    1. The Iceman
      • 3 Years

I've sold for Cunha due to too much uncertainty. Both ties against PSG being either side of the Soton game made him a sell for me.

I don't think he starts against Southampton looking at the fixtures between now and March IB.

Assuming Gakpo is fit to start
      GW27: Gakpo Jota Salah
      GW28: Diaz Nunez Salah

      26.02 Newcastle (H)
      05.03 PSG (A) UCL
      08.03 Southampton (H)
      11.03 PSG (H) UCL
      16.03 Newcastle EFL Final
      March IB

Definitely viable, although works both ways in that you also gain more rank if they return.
For me, cheapest works mentally, but Home vs Away fixture could swing it too.
