Some say he's trained, others claim he'll be wrapped in cottonwool til the final. Howe had said those that are fit would play to keep up the rhythm. So take your pick.

    4 FTs - 2.3m ITB

    Sels
    TAA - Gabriel - RAN
    Salah - Palmer - Mbuemo - Semenyo
    Isak - Wood - Beto

    Fab - Kerkez - Keane - Winks

    A) Winks > Neto/Kluivert
    B) Keane > Tarkowski/Gvardiol/Ania

A or B probably wouldn't start this week so might hold til next week for more info

ThHall injury maybe pushing me into a WC.

(No sub keeper, even Dango/Kliverts are rotatable)

    2FT

    Raya (fabs)
    Trent, Munoz, Hall, Myko, Huijsen
    Salah Palmer Kliuvert Dango Mbeumo
    Isak Mateta Gakpo

Gapko/ Isak knocks (although if Gakpo has a chance of playing at the weekend i guess he will?

Thanks. Hopeful pre-paranoia Cup final. Good luck Neale. Hope you do it My best mate was a die hard but died at 16. My Nan came up from Washington. HAd lots of grat Uncle and Aunts as a nipper. I moved away, and he was the only Newcastle fan at School and I was the only Palace fan, so we went to London together a lot to watch our home games and thier away games. Was even at the game when Vinny crushed Gazza's balls. as a teenager.

      We didn't see it mind.
So a club dear to my heart. My dad saw Jackie Milburn's last game.He supported Newcastle before switching to Palace when they got out of the 4th Division in 63 (at 19) (my Granddad was a Palace fan)..

The trouble is will Howe being over-precautious. i honestly thought Hall was rested last weekend, and it was rubbish

        Could be Gazza playing games.

He does look ill but saw Gazza just after Covid being interviewed.

Was talking about Les Ferndinand (cant remeber if it was at Newcastle or Spurs.

But was in the showers after the game and Hazza, said. Thats massive, can I hold it. Les looked wierdly then ;laughed and said "alright then".

        So he did.

then 5 minutes later, said, thats the biggest i have seen, can i hold again?

        Mad as a Brush 🙂

I think Evanilson and Wissa are the best longer term picks.

Short-term, I quite like Beto. I'm probably buying him as my Cunha replacement, and to enable a Rogers to Bruno switch in the blank.

I've been burned a little by Bournemouth (bought Dango just at the wrong time), but they probably have the best attacking stats.
I'll probably be wildcarding in 30/31 so maybe Evanilson or Beto.

Palace makes sense, depends on what they do against Fulham, too, so that we get a clear picture of their schedule.
Manchester United have some bonus games coming up, 3 of their next 4, but it's only for the really brave ones.

Isak out is the key for a wildcard, otherwise is this the definition of tinkering at the edges?

    Pickford to Sels.
    Fabianski to Areola.
    Konaté to Milenković.
    Hall to Wan-Bissaka.
    O'Shea to Robinson.
    O.Dango to Szoboszlai.
    Gordon to Kluivert.
    Cunha to Wissa.

Is this enough to merit a wildcard now?

Are you benching Forest players this week?

      Maybe GW30 if not.

Think Dango will play CF this weekend, (last one mind).

Areola (not wishing an injury on anyone, would be good for Fab owners)

Have you got your full team mate?

I can work out your midfield but not the back 5 or front 3. Hall could become Munoz. Like the AWB pick

But if you are WC30 and you get lucky with dates, then perhaps then, but i would shift Plamer out then as well

IF would are AM31-33 and it is 100% then perhaps

Hall to Munoz perhaps this GW if Isak is fit?

If Isak starts, Cunha to wood/wissa/beto is fine this week and have a look next week. I think Dango probably starts CF. Evanilson will he start twice in 2 weeks?. If you are FH or not next week depends on a nmbeumo from Gordon. Plamer out, it hard to say without funds

    Henderson, Leno
Gabriel, ait-nouri, van hecke, saliba, hall
    Nwaneri, kluivert, salah, palmer, rogers
    Watkins, wissa, isak

1FT and 2.6m in the bank. Need to use this and next weeks transfer to negotiate the bgw.

Unless he's confirmed out this week, I wouldn't sell Isak for Haaland unless you plan to WC him back in for the double in gw32.

Preferably, I'd sell Palmer instead of Isak if you're set on bringing Haaland in, but give Palmer Leicester before selling.

Thanks, that was my only other option really to free up but I run the risk for the bgw then right?

If you'd rather not sell Palmer in the blank, perhaps Watkins to Marmoush and Rogers to Bruno might work instead?

Very Solid suggestion to counter bgw too.
You think Marmoush is going to get consecutive minutes or would you go Beto or something instead?

Marmoush was rested in the cup so you'd assume Pep is prioritising him for the league.

Beto is a solid option too, especially if you don't want a rotation-risk player.

So you definitely wouldn’t go Strand Larsen? I thought that was a safe bet. palmer would need to go though.

Larsen, Haaland and Isak front 3 with Palmer to Mbuemo or Bowen?

    Who to bench?
    A) Rogers
    B) Pedro
    C) Dango

I’d think Rogers and Pedro get more guaranteed minutes now Evanilson is back

Roll or remove Cunha, might need an extra for 29?

    Raya,
    Munoz, Nouri, Trent, Myko
    Kluivert, Mbeumo, Palmer, Salah,
    Isak, Wood

    Fabs, Dango, Huijsen, Cunha,

    4.1

      Depends

I'm in the same boat and hoping to roll FT and wait to replace Cunha in the blank.

If Howe gives a negative update on Isak, then I'll bring the Cunha replacement forward to this week.

Great back 5, maybe use Palmer to swap if Isak isn’t kept locked away for the final. He hasn’t hauled in ages, is it worth the risk?

Would like a decent haul from back 5, but as per fpl not likely.

Hi....Does this seem reasonable? Won't be free hitting in 29. Thanks

Gw28....mateta and cunha to marmoush and wissa - 4

Gw29.....palmer and isak to haaland and midfielder up to 7m - 4

    Pickford
    Taa gabriel castagne (mykoleko greaves)
    Salah palmer mbeumo semenyo (dango)
    Isak mateta cunha

Only concern is Marmoushs feedback. I’d consider other options maybe

Marmoush is a bit of a risk

But at my rank of 1m I'm not going for wood

Apart from beto not much out there who plays 29....

There are some unusual options - Stand Larsen who would be nailed now Cunha is out, Beto who’s in form for Moyes or even Pedro/Welbeck?

            Think I'd rather gamble marmoush

He will surely start at least 2 of the next 3 - and hopefully Leicester in 30 before I wildcard. Thanks

What are folks general thoughts with what to do here? - take hits to Free Hits 29 or not?

0FT - Brought in Mateta and he’s Injured, hall now out for season and Isak doubts.

    Henderson
    Gabriel - Timber - Kerkez
    Salah-Palmer-Kluviert-Enzo-Bowen
    Wissa - Isak

    Fab-Mateta-Myo-Hall

You still have a good team without subbing anybody out for the moment. Maybe wait until next week and utilise mykylenko so you’re defence is spread

Unlikely in my opinion, as Southampton are the worst team in the PL - Liverpool could play a complete 2nd team and still win

They couldn’t beat Plymouth or PSV though

Very true Jim - but I stand by my post as I believe Plymouth and PSV would crush Southampton

Won't he play some minutes to get match fit? Could see coming on for 20 mins v SOU

He did travel with the squad? (looking at very small grains of hope with a forward line of Gapko Mateta and Isak 🙂 )

do I risk Gakpo or just start robinson/myko instead? Not sure if 20 minutes against SOU is better or not

Not a penalty. If he had his body in front of the player too fair enough but he just put his leg in front of him, he was never getting to the ball

If you alr have Mbeumo in your squad and planning to WC in Wk 30/31, is Wissa or Beto a better option to replace Cunha? I personally prefer Beto but not sure if he is the right option!

He has pool away 30 if you plan on WC 31

If you're looking at the Beto route, might as well give Strand Larsen a thought. Personally, I'm going Isak -> Marmoush next GW.

Use FT to ship out Hall or roll and start Robinson? Not FHing in 29 and WCing in 31/32.
