Definitely not selling the week he has a fixture during a BGW. Definitely going out on WC31 though.

Which would you prefer for 29/30?

    A) Wood, Palmer, Gvardiol
    B) Haaland, Semenyo, Milenkovic (-4)

      A

I think Wood could match Haaland, and his EO will be extremely high factoring in captaincy.

    A) Hall > Gvardiol and field 10 (one of which being Dango)
    B) Hall & Dango > RAN & Kluivert (still field 10)
    C) Hall, TAA & Dango > Gvardiol, RAN & Kluivert (-4) field 11

I think I've decided I want Bruno this week as my captain.

    A) Bruno + Evanilson + Greaves
    B) Bruno + Wood + Aina (-4)

B would mean I bench Greaves.

Yeah I’ve been assessing options and think I’ll transfer Bruno in too.

A - I have a good feeling about Evanilson this week and a -4 for a defender isn't worth it - in my opinion. Good luck whatever you decide

Depends if you plan to start Aina in 29-30, probably worth the hit over starting Greaves.

Not sure on Bournemouth attackers with the short turnaround between FAC (potentially ET) and GW30 assuming you plan to start Evanilson in 30

Slowly getting tempted to sell one of Isak/Salah this GW to afford Haaland this GW (WC31).

How many price drops are folks predicting for Salah/Isak between now and GW30 deadline?

    Salah:
    PP 12.7
    SP 13.2
    CP 13.8

    Isak:
    PP 8.5
    SP 8.9
    CP 9.4

(next price drop for Isak and Salah doesn't impact my SP)

Wouldn’t have thought they’d drop too much? A lot of people will just bench them as they’ll want them back asap, particularly salah.

        Probably 0.1-0.2 max.

I'm sure a folk will notice he's on 0 points after the deadline and sell Isak/Salah

Which option you like best? 2ft, not free hitting, WC in 31

    A) Nwaneri, Isak > Evanilson, Foden/Savinho
    B) Same as A but with Bruno instead
    C) Nwaneri>MGW, keep Isak and play 442

I will probably use up all my free transfers this week, meaning I will have only one free transfer for 30.
If Mateta is back, would you rather have him or Munoz ?

I'm saving one free transfer to bring in Mateta next week and keeping Munoz on the bench this week. Any way you can have both, especially with a double coming up in 32 and their fixture in 30?

      1. Count Olaf
        • 1 Year

I could, but I'd have to field a suboptimal team in 29, namely start the likes of Greaves and Ouattara. Maybe it's worth it though.

In my opinion starting 11 next week for no hits will give you an advantage - I'd personally play both of those, but not expect too many points. Ouattara, even if he doesn't start will come on and could do well

    Gabriel, Robinson, AWB.

2FTs and planning to WC31, TC32 and FH34. Will bring Isak back in WC31

    A - Trent, Palmer & Isak > Williams, Bruno & Haaland for -4
B - Trent, Palmer & Isak > Williams, Bruno & Evanilson for -4 (captain Bruno in 29 and do Wissa > Haaland in GW30 for free)

    Pickford
    Gabriel - Milenkovic - O'Shea

          Thanks.
I agree regards to Mateta. A bit uncertain.
I do have all midfielders, bar Salah, playing next GW, so it would be a starter swapped for another.
Like Nkunku to Kluivert, but then with 10 and Graves as one of them.

Currently have 10 players for GW29 with 2FT. I plan to play WC in GW30 or GW31. Based on this, what move would you recommend from the below?

    A) Gakpo > Evanilson. Roll 1 FT.

    B) Palmer & Gakpo > Bruno & Evanilson

    C) Hall & Gakpo > Milenkovic / Gvardiol & Evanilson

    D) Hall, Palmer & Gakpo > Lacroix / Huijsen, 4.3 MID & Haaland (-4)

    Raya
    Gabriel - Myolenko - Robinson - Williams
    Mbuemo - Palmer - Bowen - Kluivert
    Wood

    Fabianski - Salah - Isak - Gakpo - Hall

Capello may have hit the nail on the head here on bald Pep. First paragraph is just funny, second paragraph is spot on.

Finally, a football guru calling Pep out for being a fraud and accused him of making people lose interest in football.
Amid a terrible campaign with City, Guardiola has now faced criticism from ex-England and Real Madrid manager.

Capello told El Mundo: "We didn’t discuss anything [at AS Roma]. He came to tell me how I should do my job and I told him: ‘Go for a run and then you can talk’. It’s just that he was walking around the pitch and I wasn’t going to eliminate him in front of people who had a lot better things than him. That was the end of the debate.

"You know what I don’t like about Guardiola? His arrogance. The Champions League he won with City is the only one where he didn’t try anything funny in the decisive matches. But all the other years, in Manchester and Munich, on key days, he always wanted to be the protagonist. He would change things and invent them so he could say: ‘It’s not the players who win, it’s me’. And that arrogance cost him several Champions Leagues. I respect him, but for me, it’s clear."

Ben Crellin should read this quote:
"Should he continue at his current rate of 10.55 points per match and appear in Liverpool’s remaining nine league fixtures, the Egyptian would be on course to reach a whopping 401 points."
