Despite a smaller pool of players to choose from in Blank Gameweek 29, there are only seven consensus picks in this week’s Scout Squad.

Our in-house panel of Marc, Sam, Neale and Tom explain their key nominations and omissions below.

Scout Gameweek 28 Squad

In this article series, our team discuss who they think the best players are for the upcoming Gameweek in isolation. In other words, there’s no medium-term planning involved.

The players who get the most votes are likelier to make Friday’s Scout Picks.

Each of our writers must meet the following requirements for this feature:

  • At least one sub-£5.0m goalkeeper
  • At least one sub-£5.0m defender
  • At least one sub-£6.0m midfielder
  • At least one sub-£7.0m forward
  • No more than three players from the same club

      Both variations work imo or C which is the same as A but WC in 31 not 30

      I prefer A to B as you get 5games from the AM chip and you’re not trying to release funds from your bench to fund the AM chip

      Its difficult without context. Ive got £1m more tf value than nearest rival so would easily do 3 and bring Isak back on wildcard but then again you have a strong 11 with B already.

    Managing to get 11 out but not confident Lewis plays. So considering:

    A) TAA > Gvardiol (Bench Lewis)
    B) TAA + Bowen > Gvardiol + Bruno for -4

    For B, just wary of Bowen having a fixture and not sure if the hit is worth it?
    Not really interested in Haaland so not striving to get him.
