In his latest article, Pras – who has finished inside the top 40k of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) in each of the last seven seasons and now ranks 13th in our Live Hall of Fame – is using a Gameweek 30 Wildcard.

I won’t be in the minority that are holding their Wildcard for another week, as I’m now looking at a forward line featuring injured Norwegian and Kiwi assets. It has me wondering if activating the Wildcard now may work better, as it spreads funds and jumps in early on some of the teams doubling. After all, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Manchester City all have superb entry points.
FIXTURE ASSUMPTIONS
The catch, of course, is that even though we now know the four FA Cup semi-finalists, we’re not yet certain of where the rearranged fixtures will go.
For my Wildcard draft, I’ll use the below permutations prepared by Jonny Currie from Solio. This basically assumes that Man City, Palace, Aston Villa and Arsenal will double in Gameweek 33 and subsequently blank in Gameweek 34. Likewise, the two FA Cup finalists will double in Gameweek 36 and blank in Gameweek 37.

CHIP STRATEGY
Good luck, everyone. We discussed the above and a lot more on the latest episode of The FPL Wire, below.
