The rotation continues from Mikel Arteta for Arsenal’s Saturday evening match with Brentford.

Kick-off at the Emirates is at 17:30 BST.

Arteta has made five changes from the team that blew Real Madrid away in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

Bukayo Saka is, unsurprisingly, one of those players making way. The winger has been a substitute in all three league matches since his return from injury.

Also dropping to the bench are Jurrien Timber, Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Kieran Tierney, Jorginho, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ethan Nwaneri and Leandro Trossard all come in. Tierney is starting his first Premier League game in nearly two years, while we assume Zinchenko will be deployed in midfield.

There’s no Ben White tonight, meanwhile. The Arsenal defender, who likely would have started this evening, is absent after picking up a knock in training.

The Brentford team news is less eventful, with just one change from Gameweek 31.

Vitaly Janelt comes into the side, ousting Yehor Yarmoliuk from midfield.

Gustavo Nunes is among the substitutes, making the Brentford squad for the first time since his move from Gremio last summer. The teenage winger has been out all season with a back injury.

LINE-UPS

Arsenal XI: Raya, Partey, Saliba, Kiwior, Tierney, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Rice, Nwaneri, Martinelli, Trossard

Subs: Neto, Saka, Odegaard, Timber, Merino, Sterling, Butler-Oyedji, Henry-Francis, Lewis-Skelly.

Brentford XI: Flekken, Ajer, Van Den Berg, Collins, Lewis-Potter, Norgaard, Janelt, Damsgaard, Mbeumo, Schade, Wissa

Subs: Valdimarsson, Henry, Pinnock, Jensen, Mee, Yarmoliuk, Konak, Kayode, Nunes.

Ramsdale not getting max bonus with 7 saves, including 2 pen saves is shambolic and like the #1 example showing why the bps changes this season were unnecessary

If he'd gotten 3 baps the complains would have been a keeper getting bonus after losing 3-0. Can't please everyone

yea but i never really get that argument. the bps system is based mainly on individual performance. saving 2 pens in 1 match is almost a once in a decade occurrence and instead max bonus goes to a striker who only played 30 mins and scored 1 goal.

if people want the system to reflect the scoreline then start adding +bps for being on the winning team/-bps for being on the losing team. but right now its not really geared towards that

Another thing that could be reworked is 3 saves=1 point.
They should implement a scoring system that also takes into account the difficulty of each save. A one on one shouldn't be valued the same as a weak long range effort.

That’s probably too far in terms of complexity, they still want to attract the masses and make it simple.

Mistake they have made however is at current it’s inbetween complex and simple, things like the bonus system just doesn’t work so either needs to be more complex or just removed completely for the simple balance.
Alternatively just do official MOTM bonus.

This is why the game is decreasing in popularity in recent seasons, growth of player base year on year is declining

The issue is the system is too inconsistent, in prior season a penalty save was pretty much automatic 3 bonus

      Do away with baps, simple

Could counting saves against Big Chances as double or treble be a thing?

    I feel a horror week.

    Glasner, Saka, Foden

A Isak double blank would be laughable

Will be the same for all of us though. Sadly FPL is becoming as unexciting as most of the PL matches.

I'd nearly take Rogers 6 points at this stage instead of Saka coming on

Shocking defending by Damsgaard on that goal. Looked like a matador letting a raging bull charge right past him.

Absolute rollercoaster today having benched Saka for Rashford.

Worked through the Villa game, got very excited when I saw they were 3 up, nothing for Rashford, let’s see if I get punished…

Last 2 weeks I benched NFO defender and played double ARS defense

This week I changed it around and suddenly NFO loses CS and now watch ARS getting a cleanie
