Newcastle United host Crystal Palace in the final match of Double Gameweek 32.

Kick-off at St James’ Park is at 19:30 BST.

The hosts are without head coach Eddie Howe, who is recovering from pneumonia. Assistant Manager Jason Tindall is standing in for him in the dugout and names an unchanged line-up.

Harvey Barnes, who is the highest-scoring outfield player of Gameweek 32 so far (15 points), continues on the left, so Anthony Gordon is again a substitute.

Alexander Isak, who has been Triple Captained by 412,981 Fantasy managers, leads the line hoping to add to his current tally of five points.

As for Palace, JeanPhilippe Mateta starts despite Oliver Glasner criticising his performance in the 5-2 defeat at Manchester City.

The Austrian has made two changes from that clash, with Marc Guehi, who missed out on Saturday due to suspension, and Will Hughes coming in for Adam Wharton and Daichi Kamada. They are both on the bench.

LINE-UPS

Newcastle United XI: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Burn, Livramento, Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Murphy, Barnes, Isak

Subs: Dubravka, Wilson, Gordon, Targett, Krafth, Osula, Willock, Longstaff, Miley

Crystal Palace XI: Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Munoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell, Sarr, Eze, Mateta

Subs: Turner, Nketiah, Franca, Clyne, Kamada, Wharton, Esse, Chilwell, Devenny

Arsenal are unbeaten in the last 10 games that Saliba and Kiwior started together.

I thought Madrid still had Casemiro playing for them when I saw how slow that Garcia kid was chasing Martinelli. Then he just gave up

All teams there are a danger, most even the CL has been in a while imo. Just about fancy Arsenal, but PSG look miles better than they’ve been in years gone by.

They are better but get into them I figure they crumble.
Arsenal are great playing attacking sides so a final against Inter is a concern , against Barca will be a crap shoot.
Barca may have more attacking threat but no doubt Arsenal have a better defense.
Yeah at least us Arsenal supporters have something to hang on too ,enjoying the ride.

All games from here on in will be tough but fancy Arsenal to get past PSG. In a final it's fine margins though so will be happy if Arsenal are just in that mix.

The plan coming into this week was sell Howe for Arteta and either Murphy or Kerkez out for a doubler for a hit

Not gonna be easy sticking to the plan..

Mateta is lucky there is no other decent strikers doubling (other than Marmoush we all got). So tempted to sell him

IKR, I am just playing with my FH, and I think I have no choice but to keep Mateta really. I could sack him off and get an Arsenal mid, but who on earth do I put in goal? Martinez, Henderson, or Areola, wtf lol. Might as well get Alisson.

      on FH btw

yup. its a SGW for mateta now as well with the semi final coming up. either very early subbed, or just straight benched vs Arsenal.

Yes Salah DGW24 for the big haul. So 87 + 22 = 109. I was on the wrong side of it!

    2. _Ninja_
      • 15 Years
      1 year, 3 months ago

You could also factor in AM as the reason people didnt TC salah 24 was because they went AM. Most went Slot with some going Moyes or Emery/Glasner and a mix of them all. This run most went Howe or Glasner, Howe on 34 over 2 weeks is decent but Glasner not doing well.

      1. Silecro
        • 8 Years
        1 year, 3 months ago

Thats also true. Seems like the best outcome was (slight brag alert) what I did:

        TC24 Salah (87)
        AM25 Emery (14)
        AM26 Glasner (20)
        AM27 Glasner (20)

Will probably never have that kind of luck again
