Guess the FPL prices for 2025/26 – and win FFScout Membership!

With Fantasy Premier League (FPL) undergoing its first ‘update’ of the summer, it won’t be too long before the game relaunches for 2025/26.

One of the most keenly anticipated weeks of the campaign is the FPL price reveals.

Will there be a new John Lundstram in the £4.0m bracket? How much will Mohamed Salah rise? And what will Florian Wirtz’s starting price be?

GUESS THE PRICE COMPETITION

Fantasy Football Scout regulars TopMarx and circusmonkey have got price predictions on the brain, as well, and have returned with their yearly pre-season competition.

They’ve listed 20 players of interest, many of whom are expected to rise (eg Salah) or fall (Phil Foden) in price.

All you have to do is:

  1. Make sure you’re at least a Standard Member before entering (which is free to do!)
  2. Guess the starting price for each player via the form at the bottom of this article (hidden for those who aren’t yet signed up as a free/Standard Member)

And it’s not just for ‘fun’, either.

We’re offering a full-year Fantasy Football Scout Premium Membership to the entrant with the most correct guesses. Monthly Premium Memberships go to those in second and third. Anyone who has already taken out a paid subscription can still enter and win, as we’ll cover the cost of their Premium Membership instead.

We will settle any ties by randomised draws.

We’ll accept entries up to the point of the first price reveal for 2025/26. We’ll then announce the winners in the days after FPL relaunches.

    I'm too casual to remember all 19* players' starting/final prices from last season and the FPL site is still updating. Always good to have a starting point.

        Minimum £19.5m on the bench at those prices, predict you'll early WC to a cheaper bench to accommodate the main premium.

            I dont like solanke really after he was so bad last season, was thinking squad along these lines:
            Pickford, 4.0 keep
            frimpong, ait nouri, o brien, lacroix , esteve
            Wirtz, saka, marmoush, johnson? or eze if he signs, Ndayie
            , isak, delap?, haaland if i could afford him, otherwise thinking raul jiminez.

            i feel like wirtz will be better than salah, also quite like a city treble although it could be very pricy.

            mostly like that but dont like spurs. As an everton fan i think that o brien is a good pick in defense, but thats a little bit biased. However, i do think that evreton are underrated ( of course) but i usually benched players playing efc last season and our defense pulled through for me. The only big haul i got against efc was salah in the double, but i kind of had to captain him there.

          This article made me think that this really is a great time to compile your own private handicap and build your team around your very own expectations of players prices before being swayed into thinking you must have got it wrong when the official ones are released. For example, Salah & Palmer have 15.0m? & 10.5m? beside them at the top of the article but personally I wouldn't entertain either at those prices. I haven't started thinking yet as to how I would actually price them up but I certainly wouldn't cough up 15.0m for someone who's returns fell off a cliff the very moment he signed a new contract and for someone else costing 10.5m who yielded one goal and three assists in his last seventeen games.

              yeah i like wirtz much better, and neto or enzo could be a surprise differential.
              I would uy wirtz for 9.5 or under, and palmer only for less than that. I feel like premium defense this time round, as i said i love the idea of frimpong even up to 6.5. I also think that i could try haaland again of he is 13.5 or less, hes still a great player.

              The problem is I think Salah tends to always start strong. How he finishes the season isnt so relevant to our starting team in GW1.

            Liverpool players are the key prices FPL have to get right this year. The worst template we've ever had was in 23/24 and was caused almost entirely by Arsenal CBs starting at 5.0m and Saka 8.5m. I fear we have a repeat of this on our hands if they underprice Frimpong, Kerkez and Wirtz.

                I hope they've learned the lessons from that year because it genuinely ruined the season. It's a perfect storm, Slot barely rotates, they've just walked the league and have added fresh legs and a world class player. All points towards a triple up being template, if that's how it has to be at least make it prohibitively expensive.

                  yeah if it was me, id increase all the prices, force us to look at promoted clubs for our squad players, as it is currently you can make a team full of top 8 club players

                    But then you’ll have a multitude of people on here spitting feathers because they can’t fit players W, X, Y and Z into their team because the prices are too high.

              Well I just hope there is more variety of mid to high priced midfielders. Last season was very extreme.
