Only doing FPL as a hedge against my auction team (unless I start doing really well and crap in the auction).

Yes, I think ban the Triple captain and Bench boost from DGWs, it has become very formulaic. Make people pick a week. I think the chips add something for most players and they are going to consider the majority, even if it introduces luck a bit. In any case, it is hard to completely remove luck from the game. Far too many strikers are classed as midfielders. I don't know whether reclassifying them would mean that the midfield picks then become obvious from what is left. That's the only justification for not reclassifying all of them. But at a minimum, if the player sometimes plays as the central striker (e.g. Salah) they should be a striker. They won't do transfer stockpiling because they want the casuals logging in every week, it drives advertising revenue. » Read

  16. Early kick off time 20 days, 20 hours ago

You could maybe take a conclusion like 'Kane doesn't like early kick offs, Firmino does' but it depends on the oppo (e.g Man City v Huddersfield, week 2), their form anyway, all sorts. I suppose the clearest conclusion is the reluctance to captaining early starters that the scoutcasters have (and Mark had as I recall) is based on how failing makes them feel rather than the likelihood of blanking. » Read
