Fantasy EFL is the new game on the scene, and a brilliant complement to your main course of FPL action. With up to 72 teams in action each week, and multiple routes to points (even more ‘defcons’ than new FPL!), there’s a lot of points to play for over the 40-Gameweek season!
So even though we’re into Gameweek 2, it’s definitely not too late to join the action and have a stab at winning the FFS prize league. There are also awesome prizes on offer from EFL, including a season ticket from one of the 72 clubs of your choice and tickets to play-off finals.
This is the first week that the Championship teams join the action, and we’ve only had two fixtures in the Gameweek so far, plus another sprinkling of 12.30pm BST kick-offs. Whilst you’ll have missed out on those fixtures (a 1-1 draw between Birmingham City and Ipswich Town and the stalemate between Port Vale and Cardiff City), the majority of games (27) aren’t kicking off till 3pm BST on Saturday 9 August.
So, there’s more than enough options to pick from to have a strong Gameweek and plenty of time still to pick your seven-man side and two clubs to secure you points! What’s more, unlike FPL, you can essentially ‘free hit’ every week, so you’re not locked into these teams.
Our Gameweek 2 guide has all you need to get up to speed on top picks, key strategies and indeed the basic rules. And it’s all totally free to play!
There are no FPL fixtures till next weekend, so whilst you’re waiting, why not sign up to our FFS mini-league – code (0D9I8JH3) – and give it a go?
