There’s not a Liverpool or Arsenal player in sight in the Scout Picks for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Neale (Editor), Tom (Deputy Editor), Sam (General Manager) and Marc (Staff Writer) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, there are certain restrictions for our picks:

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GAMEWEEK 3 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

Robert Sanchez (£5.0m) gets the nod between the sticks ahead of Chelsea’s home match against Fulham on Saturday. The Spaniard has conceded just once in his two matches so far (an effort from 25+ yards, to boot), and given that Marco Silva’s side haven’t really impressed from an attacking perspective this season, a home clean sheet could well be on the cards.

      The fact that Saka went down 0.1m but Palmer didn't is a farce.

    Indecisive as to who to pick between Sanchez and Vicario. Should be a win for Chelsea however, Vicario's kept sold cleansheets in his previous two games. Not saying Bournemouth won't be a challenge...

    Dorgu an interesting pick given he was hauled off at half-time vs Grimsby. Scout Picks comfortable he will start? Could see him being dropped for Shaw and Maguire or Heaven playing LCB:

        If Isak doesn't go to Liverpool, I want Ekitike and have the funds for it if I get Reijnders.
        However, if Isak goes, I'd rather put all my money into a midfielder instead of Reijnders.
        It's a tough call.

    Captain? Tricky. Wish I had either Haaland or Wood in my team.

    Pedro... but the early Sat kick-off is scary. Only one player has consistently done well in that slot.

    West Ham mainly conceding goals from corners - actually considering Milenkovic. CS, goal, max baps.

        It would certainly fit the narrative (start of the season).

        2-2 in both games last season. Arsenal with 2 cleans in 2 games so far, but Liverpool attack looking lively. Mo is always an option.

    Cole Palmer is still feeling some discomfort in his groin but scans have not shown up anything serious. Chelsea being smart to pull him for the game tomorrow and international duty. They’re being cautious, but Palmer expected back after the internationals.

    as anyone got a view on Collins vs Van den Berg, and which to go for? 0.5 can go quite far, so if VdB is playing CB and racking up the DCs like Collins with similar goal threat (i know last season was 9 to 0 in attacking returns, but underlying stats were similar), leaning towards VdB
