There’s not a Liverpool or Arsenal player in sight in the Scout Picks for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Neale (Editor), Tom (Deputy Editor), Sam (General Manager) and Marc (Staff Writer) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, there are certain restrictions for our picks:

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GAMEWEEK 3 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

Robert Sanchez (£5.0m) gets the nod between the sticks ahead of Chelsea’s home match against Fulham on Saturday. The Spaniard has conceded just once in his two matches so far (an effort from 25+ yards, to boot), and given that Marco Silva’s side haven’t really impressed from an attacking perspective this season, a home clean sheet could well be on the cards.

    Crucial game at the top of the table with the chance to lay a marker down for the rest of the season.
    Liverpool with home advantage
    Salah hasn’t set the world alight thus far but will relish the challenge against a side he’s scored 11 goals and 4 assists against in 14 starts.

    Gibbs-White and Watkins are the alternatives.

    Taking another hit on Malen tonight but sticking with him. Salah, Gakpo, Reijnders and Cunha can hold the midfield fort until after the transfer window and see what Isak might do to my Gakpo and Ekitike
    1 player down, 5 up so I can give malen a little more time.

    With kamara injured Tielemans should drop back into the pivot giving a space for either malen, guessand or buendia

      Interesting choice as ask any Villa fan and they hate playing us (see our 3 wins v them last season League/Cup) - still interested to see how Guessand fits in for Villa though, he looks like a good player.

      Sancho is far worse. Not just the fee, but the salary, the social media posts, & the poisonous personality. There are things about Jadon Sancho that will come out in time, when it's ready to be released.

            Interesting. Sancho is up there alright.

            Mount has had his fair share of injuries and may still come good.

            Ugarte is crap but half the transfer fee.

            Onana less than half the fee also.

              Mount costing £60m with a year left only to miss most of his first 2 seasons is one of the reasons why he’s so bad. High wages too.

              Ugarte was £60m, not “half”, and would stink it up at Sunday league. Onana £50m and single-handedly knocked us out of the Champions League in his first season, and cost us countless other times (just look at Wed night)
