There’s not a Liverpool or Arsenal player in sight in the Scout Picks for Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Neale (Editor), Tom (Deputy Editor), Sam (General Manager) and Marc (Staff Writer) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, there are certain restrictions for our picks:

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GAMEWEEK 3 SCOUT PICKS

GOALKEEPER

Robert Sanchez (£5.0m) gets the nod between the sticks ahead of Chelsea’s home match against Fulham on Saturday. The Spaniard has conceded just once in his two matches so far (an effort from 25+ yards, to boot), and given that Marco Silva’s side haven’t really impressed from an attacking perspective this season, a home clean sheet could well be on the cards.

On wildcard currently, any changes here? 1.6m in the bank.. Is Sels my best option on WC?

    Sels
Cucu - Gabriel - Van den Berg
    Semenyo - Gakpo - Cunha - Kudus
    Haaland - Wood (c) - Pedro

    Dubravka - Reijnders - VDV - Gudmondsson

      Pickford might be...

Everton typically start slow and Pickford smashes the second half of the season but he's smashed Gw2.

      Might be set and forget.

    Kelleher | 4.0
Gabriel VDV Williams | Konsa Rodon

    C) Minteh + Wirtz to Semenyo + Elanga
    D) Wirtz + Strand Larsen to Semenyo + Wood

    current FH:

    Sels
    Cucu Dorgu Porro
    Cunha Mbeumo Johnson Barnes
    Haaland(c) Pedro Richarlison

    (Dub Neto AitNouri Rodon)

Midfield is a huge pain in the a**.

On FH too below, midfeild is tough indeed, a forrest attacker makes sense but it kinda depends on how which attack you rate higher

      A or C

      Toss a coin

Either could come good in Gw3

Possibly favouring Villa as Palace travelled and did they play on a plastic type pitch?

  9. Atimis

    Ok guys, so which one?

    1) Kudus
    2) Sarr

    4) Semenyo
    5) BJ
    6) Elanga

    1. JT11fc

Sarr 10 returns in 7 games against Villa
Palace unbeaten in 5 vs Villa scoring 16 in process
Think palace have good games, but the ticker is broken for me

Based on all this, id pick 1,3,4,5 or 6

    Start VDV or RAN ?

    1. H Dog
      • 16 Years
      10 months, 22 days ago

I would think both would end up scoring more, and sometimes it's one of those that whatever way you go it will be wrong. I would go RAN for attacking potential.

Currently benching Konsa - should he be in over Porro/Milenkovic/Tark, or Anderson/Ndiaye?

      Should be benched

Best forward to accompany Haaland and Wood?

    A) Ekitike
    B) Joao Pedro

    1. H Dog
      • 16 Years
      10 months, 22 days ago

Depends on rest of the team. If no other Chelsea/have salah then B. Otherwise Ekitike is the better player and would be tempted to pick him if you feel like it.

      1. Uns95
        • 8 Years
        10 months, 22 days ago

I have Gakpo for Liverpool and Cucu for Chelsea.

Issue with Ekitike is Isak but they have a couple very good fixtures after Arsenal

        1. H Dog
          • 16 Years
          10 months, 22 days ago

No Chelsea attacker makes me side with JP then. If necessary just bring in Eki next week

On wildcard so doubt we get an outcome before tonight but sounds to me like Isak is going

    Hello guys I have
    Vicario
    Vdv Aina Williams
    Palmer saka quartz gakpo reijnders
    Haaland j.pedro
    Bench..dubra,dorgu,guiu,eseteve

2FT.. please suitable replacement for Palmer and saka?
    I like differentials so
Opt 1, Get Chel player -neto or estevao
    Opt 2,get ars player -eze
    Opt 3,triple spurs kudus
    Opt 4,triple forest wood

    Or any suggestions

    1. JT11fc
      • 7 Years

      Eze as a dif
      Wood

Like opt 1 too but for this week only due to uncertain mins

Thanks with Liverpool shaky at the back I recon arsenal wingers being influencial..eze it is plus his record Vs Liverpool is good
But I don't know feels bad without having any Chelsea player except j.p

    2. H Dog
      • 16 Years
      10 months, 22 days ago

Either 3 or 4, but going to struggle to get wood for Palmer'Saka so guess it should be 3!! How about Elanga or Grealish?

      1. Mikolobaijo
        • 2 Years
        10 months, 22 days ago

        I don't mind a -4 it's for the long run..I think wood has ars,sun,bur in next 3
I only ever pick Everton defence not a grealish fan
Elanga looks good but no striker to support..I'd have to watch nick first

    FH team, any changes?

    Martinez
    Deligt Cucu Milenkovic

    Vicario Estevao Porro Reineldo

    1. H Dog

FH often is gut instinct so hesitate to say anyone is bad. Not sure Martinez would play, and I would play Porro over De light tho

Yeah, not sure why you’d go Martínez in goal if on FH. Sanchez, Sels are both better options this week imo. Why Rogers ? Rest looks good

      1. JT11fc
        • 7 Years
        10 months, 22 days ago

Thanks, could go Sanchez as I like Milenkovic, Rogers is just because I think hel be no.10 against a tired Palace

If you've taken a -4, but then decide to take a wildcard, is the -4 cancelled and you gain these points back?
And do you get the player you transferred out for the -4 back in the team?

    F) Rogers Minteh and JSL to Dango Reijnders and Wood

Leaning towards F at the moment, would like to keep Wirtz

    Thoughts on the below:

    Sels
    Cucarella | Porro | VdV
    Palmer | Bruno | Semenyo | Gakpo
    Ekitike | Pedro (C) | Gyokores

    Dubravka | Rejinders | Andersen | Esteve

    No FT.

    1. Start Rejinders
    2. Palmer to Kudus -4
    3. Other

      Start tijani
      Semenyo Vs porro,vdv already
I recommend removing Palmer for -4 for kudus too but you'll have to bench semenyo for triple spurs

How about Kluivert instead of Semenyo? He is back playing and takes pens. Anyone saw how he looked in the EFL game vs Brentford?

Wondering the same just above. I’m actually coming round to the idea of Barnes, always has a haul in him
