Leeds United v Newcastle United rounds off Saturday’s Premier League football.

Kick-off at Elland Road is at 17:30 BST.

Leeds’ line-up shows two changes from Gameweek 2.

Lukas Nmecha and, facing his old club, Sean Longstaff come into the starting XI.

Joel Piroe drops to the bench, while Ao Tanaka is injured.

New signing James Justin is named among the substitutes.

There are some real surprises with the Newcastle line-up.

We knew that Anthony Gordon and Joelinton would miss out through suspension and injury.

But the benching of Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes is an eyebrow-raiser.

Jacob Ramsey is handed his full debut, while William Osula makes his first Premier League start for the Magpies.

The recall of Sven Botman hints at a formation change, too.

Jacob Murphy comes in for Elanga, meanwhile.

LINE-UPS

Leeds United XI: Perri, Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson, Longstaff, Gruev, Stach, James, Nmecha, Gnonto

Subs: Darlow, Justin, Bornauw, Bijol, Harrison, Aaronson, Okafor, Piroe, Calvert-Lewin.

Newcastle United XI: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn, Livramento, Guimaraes, Tonali, Ramsey, Murphy, Osula.

Subs: Ramsdale, Hall, Lascelles, Thiaw, Krafth, Barnes, Willock, Miley, Elanga.

      Feel your pain

      yep - I'm on a (-8) start 4 played in affect 2 points (lol)
not my best moment - hoping Haaland (C) scores a few tomorrow,
plus Dorgu nothing as did not start

a lot of squads have a lot of Arsenal / Liverpool players
whilst some punted with FH for this week

I'll probably be wrong on this, but Liverpool's squad looks like it needs Guehi and Isak. It looks a bit short at CB and FW without them given demands of PL and CL. They would definitely be an upgrade on Quansah and Nunez from last season though.

      Very expensive upgrade that

If Guehi goes, he will be in everybody's squad at 4.5m. I want another Liverpool attacker but want to see if Isak goes or not before choosing which one.

No guarantee Guehi starts over Konate. As a Liverpool fan I think he really should because Konate has been shambolic recently, but you never know

Isn't Guehi a left-sided CB though? So would he actually be comfortable replacing Konate? I know people will say CB is CB, but I have seen it make a difference as to which side you are on and the PL is a competitive league where even small things like that can make a difference

watching the highlights, these pens being given in the sunderland brentford match. stuff like that happens every game. its not sustainable giving pens for this, otherwise pen takers will just take over in FPL

I don't actually think he's overpriced in this market.

His PL record is elite. 54 goals in 86 games is really good.

I think 130 for Isak is about eight given the cost of some other players. Isak at Pool will be insane.

£130m is a bargain when bang average strikers are going for north of £70m

sounds made but its a barter system
the cost of someone is only as high
        as someone will pay.

Average players seem to be going for 40 to 50 million madness.

Sell Isak & get two players - one arrived & if they just pay the
50 million with Wissa they have two strikers for one & have done
        well in the transfer market

Isak does have the odd injury problems like Harry Kane used to have
will he make 38 games in a season starting

He can show me something tomorrow, but I really just feel like I want some solid DC defenders (4-5 of them), and then Salah + Haaland.
I know Salah has looked off, and I will obviously watch him tomorrow, but with Isak joining Salah is the most secure starter in that front 4.
Captaincy swap between Salah and Haaland also looks good.

Aftet GW1 everyone went for Reinjdeer, Ballard, Haaland,.etc. this week it was Semenyo, VDV, Johnson, etc.

Otherwise, I bet Joao Pedro will be injured soon like last season when I got him in my team, Etikike will stop scoring with Isak in his way. Salah will struggle if a game is finished before 99 minutes.

You can try Everton maybe and hope there are no injuries.

Think I’ll probably go for Senesi. But IB anyway. He isn’t a high priority move for me, he can rot on my bench for a bit. A price drop would be annoying though, might boot him out if there is a risk he drops.

Senesi straight into Gw4 wildcard picks.

He always has an assist in him.

Bournemouth the surprise package again, more so than Spurs!

Thoughts on Mbeumo + Cucurella ➡ Salah + Lacroix for -4? Gives me -

    Raya
    Lacroix - Cash - Dorgu
    Salah - Semenyo - Kudus - Reijnders
    Haaland - Gyokeres - Wood

    Dubravka - King - Reinildo - Gudmundsson

Leaves nothing in the bank. May even play King over Wood.

Let the weekend play out and lets see but I think I would look at Gakpo for next week, or perhaps Semenyo, Grealish, Sarr longer term.

Other than the defence I’m happy to roll with the team for a bit, excellent captaincy options against the promoted teams which has worked well so far.

    Sels
    VdV Konsa Diouf
    Salah Bruno Semenyo KDH
    Haaland Wood Pedro
    Dub King Rodon Reinildo

Absolutely not. Reijnders among the most overrated players on here

Bruno will be in the top 5 midfielders in FPL. He’s well priced, nailed, can score and assist, on set pieces and pens and gets defcons. He’s an easy hold.

Cunha owners lucky. Now they have a perfect excuse to change to Mbeumo who always had the better stats.

Getting Man Utd assets sounds like a great idea.
They just won relegation six pointer so surely will be fired up for their trip to Etihad.

City will probably win but are very likely to concede several against Man United

At least 3 or 4, that’s before you add mandatory own goal.

But they are unlucky to miss out on the next red card after punching/headbutting someone in their face.
