Using a well-known bookmaker, we’ve slightly adjusted the odds in order to remove their markup, ensuring these 36 numbers total 800%. Eight clubs that will eventually qualify with 100% certainty.

Nine teams belong to Pot 1, but Dortmund aren’t near the leading nine expectations. Instead, Arsenal are up there, placed fourth.

Reigning champions PSG have odds of 60.7%, despite needing to navigate a tough set of fixtures versus Barcelona, Bayern Munich and arguably the strongest sides from Pots 3 and 4.

Meanwhile, we see that Pot 2 confidence varies from Arsenal all the way down to 30th-placed Club Brugge.

In fact, Tottenham Hotspur (3), Napoli (3) and Newcastle United (4) are seen as more likely to finish in the top tier than seven of the Pot 2 outfits.

    Thoughts on this WC?

    Raya, Dubravka
    Calafiori, Lacroix, Senesi, Andersen, Gudmundsson
    Salah, Gakpo, Semenyo, Grealish, Elliott
    Pedro, Mateta, Wissa

Plan is to bench boost in GW5, then Salah & Mateta > Mbeumo & Haaland GW6 and Wissa > Isak GW7.

Very similar to mine. Really want Haaland but I feel Wissa could match him over the next 2.

Like the Elliott shout as he could be an easy way into Villa's good fixtures.

Cheers. It was really between Salah and Haaland for GW4 - feel like I’ve got to have Mo for Burnley. Isak and Gakpo can hopefully cover Liverpool attack going forward.

I wouldn't keep 2 of those, DEF actually has some real value this year and running 2x 4.0's from promoted sides mid to long term I think is a poor strategy. 1 is fine.

In his final 8 games last season he scored 0 goals from open play. If he fails to impress in Burnley and Everton I think it's time to part ways. An absolute legend of the game, but some of the biggest mistakes I've made in FPL in the past is not being adaptable to change. He needs to haul now.

I made a similar comment last season about his poor output from open play, and i was totally destroyed from multiple people on this site for it. So good luck with that comment! Needless to say i didn't pick him this year. Good luck for the season.

Yeah that sounds like this site.

I mean I fully expect him to destroy Burnley and Everton and be his usual self. Last season was a record season, it was remarkable. And Bournemouth, Newcastle, & Arsenal is a brutal set of opening fixtures, and yet he still got 2 returns from open play. But I think you have to always be open to the possibility of change. Burnley and Everton are the true acid test.

He is chronically off form, so the question is, is he past it or is it a dip? I am concerned about the Burnley game as a non owner as it could be brutal, possible 15+, but i am not concerned long term. Cheers

    1st year playing
    .
5 goals will increase momentum for players to switch from Salah to haaland

If a rush of those transactions happen then

Haaland price goes up and at the same time Salah's price will come down

    Or am I wrong

I personally scouted him last Friday when he played against the CommBank socceroos and he’s a bit of a lummox. I don’t think he’ll have the legs. I won’t be bringing him in yet.

What about this for Haaland + Salah, no Forest draft? Was thinking Haaland for GW6 but wondering whether to bring forward.

    Petrovic
    Munoz Chalobah VdV
    Salah Semenyo Kudus Reijnders
    Haaland Ekitike Pedro

    Dubravka King Esteve Tuanzebe

Is this the only real week to fear Salah?

I have Haaland but no Salah, don’t really want to transfer Salah in because I’ll be going Isak long term, just toying with the idea of free hitting him in and dealing with it that way.

I think I’m more worried about when I’m going to use the FH, I don’t see an attractive week for it based on my set up (have 3 City, 3 Arsenal, 2 Bournemouth)

The fixs seem smooth for my squad.

I own no Liverpool or Palace so this week feels like it might be one to go.

For a draft league who would you drop and who would you pick up from this list

    DROP 1 :
    Adingra
    Lewis-potter
    Doku

    PICK 1:
    Dango Outtara
    Harvey Elliott
    Dewsbury Hall
    Andersen

Think long term, not just this coming GW

Doku and any of them are fine, preference for Andersen or KDH because Dango will have afcon (I think), Elliott is quite injury prone

        How is Elliott injury prone?

Solanke replacement needed for £7.3 or less, Evanilson my preferred but I have Semenyo - Not touching Richarlison with Muani joining Spurs.

    Any thoughts?

I'd probably go with Evanilson but I guess Thiago would be my second option in that price range. This GW fixture is much worse for him though.
