Brentford v Man Utd team news: Cunha starts

Bryan Mbeumo makes a first return to Brentford since his move from west London to Manchester United over the summer.

Kick-off in the Gameweek 6 curtain-raiser at the Gtech Community Stadium is at 12.30pm BST.

TEAM NEWS

Mbeumo is joined in the visitors’ starting XI by Matheus Cunha, who made his return from a hamstring injury as a substitute last weekend.

That means that Rubem Amorim unites his big-money front three in a starting line-up for the first time, with Benjamin Sesko set to lead the line.

Cunha for the absent Amad Diallo, who has suffered a family bereavement, is one of three changes to United’s Gameweek 5 team.

Manuel Ugarte comes in for the suspended Casemiro in midfield, while the fit-again Diogo Dalot replaces the injured Noussair Mazrouai at wing-back.

Brentford boss Keith Andrews has made two alterations.

Aaron Hickey makes his first Premier League start in not far off two years, replacing Keane Lewis-Potter at left-back.

In an attacking move, Dango Ouattara comes in for Ethan Pinnock. That will see the Bees move to a 4-3-3, having used a 3-5-2 in recent weeks.

    Would appreciate some advice here. Which option is best? This will be FT’s over the next 3 weeks.

    a) Muñoz > Calafiori then Porro > Senesi then Wood > Isak

    b) Muñoz > Gabriel then Porro > 4.4 then Wood > Isak

    Essentially do I go for Calafiori over Gabriel as it allows me to get Senesi/Guehi/Andersen as my 4th defender instead of a poor pick for 4.4 or less?

    Can see Nuno pulling off a cheeky 1-0 with a counter attack. Gyökeres unlikely to get a sniff particularly as he has the mobility of a fridge freezer.

      It's still a home game where Arsenal can always score a lot but previously I was thinking that would be Potters last game for West Ham, so unmotivated players etc. I had Gyokeres already but I am a bit surprised every WCer had him, he had 0.00 xG in 3 of the 5 games I think and when Saka was playing vs. Leeds I was thinking I have the wrong Arsenal asset (and got fortunate with the injury)

    Don't want to totally lock myself into a wildcard but i'm likely to do WC8. Can't see how I save the wildcard for much longer. I'm losing so much team value. Lost 0.2 on Wood, 0.3 on Watkins, 0.1 on Williams, 0.1 on Sanchez. So painful.
