Spurs v Wolves team news: Porro benched

Another Saturday, another later-than-late kick-off as Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers gets underway at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

It’s easier to compare the Spurs team to last weekend’s XI rather than the much-changed side that Thomas Frank sent out in midweek.

There are two alterations from the Gameweek 5 line-up, both of them notable from a Fantasy perspective.

Pedro Porro drops to the bench, so in comes Djed Spence at right-back.

Further forward, Xavi Simons reclaims his place as Wilson Odobert makes way.

Vitor Pereira, by contrast, has had his head turned by the midweek EFL Cup win over Everton.

There’s only one change from Tuesday’s XI, as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde is replaced by Joao Gomes.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Vicario; Spence, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Bergvall, Palhinha; Simons, Kudus, Richarlison.

Subs: Kinsky, Danso, Tel, Gray, Johnson, Porro, Odobert, Sarr, Scarlett.

Wolverhampton Wanderers XI: Johnstone; Doherty, H Bueno, Krejci, S Bueno; Munetsi, Andre, J Gomes; Arias, Strand Larsen, Hwang.

            I agree, but look at these first 6 GWs.
            I’d argue that D. Burn against NFO looks likely to outscore Kudus, Grealish, Ndiaye, Foden, Pedro, Mateta, Doku, Reijnders, Gakpo, Simmons, Richarlison and so on.

            These defenders are basically 4+ more or less each GW with higher upside than midfielders and attackers.

    Richarlison is just not a good football player for years, he can have 0 competition for his spot and he can play against 4th divison teams, he would never make my team and should have 0 hype around him as an FPL option

      Yea. I think he will get a return probably one in every 3 games, but I am not convinced its enough or a haul. He was never a real FPL option before, so not sure why we all expected he would be now. He does have decent fixtures, but after 11 he is a sell for sure.

      Enzo or Minteh are better options IMO, if I was on WC, I'd take one of them.

    Getting serious deja vu watching this Spurs game. it's like a re-run of when they lost at home to BOU 0-1. Eerily similar mistakes which Frank clearly didn't learn from.
