It’s Scout Picks time as we choose our best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players for Gameweek 7.

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Marc (Staff Writer), Sam (General Manager), Tom (Deputy Editor) and Neale (Editor) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, we are limited by certain restrictions.

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GOALKEEPER

3m team news:

Nick Pope (£5.0m) comes in for Newcastle United’s home encounter with Nottingham Forest. The Magpies will fancy their chances of a fifth clean sheet in seven Premier League games, especially considering that the Tricky Trees have failed to impress from an attacking perspective under Ange Postecoglou, having not won any of their six matches with him in charge.

    Gakpo must go, so:

    a) Gakpo -->Saka

    I just feel all above are solid moves but just wonder how essential is to have Saka/Gyokeres (who's more?). On the other hand Gordon move would be ahead of potential bandwagoon.

    Is Guéhi worth the 0.3m more than Richards? The latter seems to be racking up more Defcon points but Guéhi has been contributing more attacking returns so far even though their XGI's are not far apart.

      There will always be a template at any given Gameweek and it always changes based on fixtures. In GW12, you will see Liverpool triple ups everywhere, whereas there's no love for any of their players now.

      Looks decent, although I'd argue Ndiaye should be on the bench really and wouldn't expect anything from him against Palace. Just depends if you want that squad depth going forward (compared to, for example, using the funds to upgrade Gakpo to Saka or something like that and BB later)
