It’s Scout Picks time as we choose our best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players for Gameweek 7.

We considered the Scout Squad submissions made by Marc (Staff Writer), Sam (General Manager), Tom (Deputy Editor) and Neale (Editor) before coming up with our final team.

As ever, we are limited by certain restrictions.

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GOALKEEPER

3m team news:

Nick Pope (£5.0m) comes in for Newcastle United’s home encounter with Nottingham Forest. The Magpies will fancy their chances of a fifth clean sheet in seven Premier League games, especially considering that the Tricky Trees have failed to impress from an attacking perspective under Ange Postecoglou, having not won any of their six matches with him in charge.

        I get where you're coming from, but it seems they need him to

        The only other fit options atm are Merino and Trossard, and they're in a title race

        Also, coaches rarely rest players right before an international break, unless the medical team gives a strong warning (which is possible, tbf)

          He doesn't seem to rate Grealish though. And Quansah in for Livramento shows how little he rates Shaw and Mitchell.

            This will send players like Grealish & Foden into overdrive surely. Palmer too when he's fit.

            They will want to make that World Cup squad, and the competition is fierce, and Tuchel likes stable consistent squads. It will be difficult. They need to be exceptional.

            But keep switching it

            May well transfer Grealish to Sarr which would mean benching Stach or Reijnders away at Brentford.

            Brentford are better at home and despite the Haaland show no assists for Reijnders last week.

              I’m scared to bench Reijnders as he’s got a double figure haul in him any time soon. Have Sarr already, so may well punt in Stach. Not sure Grealish gets much v Palace.

              Other side of coin is I’m getting rid of Grealish next week for Saka, so thinking may as well give him 1 last chance as he’s done nowt since I got him on my GW4WC.
