A later-than-late Premier League match is still to come: it’s Brentford v Liverpool, which kicks off at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Liverpool boss Arne Slot makes three changes from Wednesday’s win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Slot is forced into two of them, as Alexander Isak and Jeremie Frimpong are injured.

Andrew Robertson also drops to the bench.

Conor Bradley, Milos Kerkez and Mohamed Salah are brought into the side after their midweek absences.

Ryan Gravenberch hasn’t recovered in time, so he misses out again.

The Brentford team news is more straightforward: they’re unchanged from Monday’s win over West Ham United.

LINE-UPS

Brentford XI: Kelleher, Ajer, Van den Berg, Collins, Kayode, Henderson, Yarmoliuk, Damsgaard, Schade, Thiago, Ouattara.

Subs: Valdimarsson, Henry, Pinnock, Jensen, Nelson, Carvalho, Onyeka, Lewis-Potter, Janelt.

Liverpool XI: Mamardashvili, Bradley, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Jones, Gakpo, Salah, Ekitike.

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Endo, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Robertson, Nyoni, Morrison, Ngumoha.

Having defcon monster Virgil on WC6 to be ready gor gw12 fixtures was a huge mistake. Most 4.0 defs have been better than him.

Van Dijk has been an awful pick.. Owners keeping?

I think the fixtures turning soon + DefCon reliability makes him hard to sell

Yea hard to sell..Not a priority and its hard to justify a hit to remove him as he could always turn up with a goal and a 15 pointer and then youre kicking yourself

If Palace get knocked out by Liverpool on Wednesday it's off. But if they beat Liverpool as expected, we will know by GW13.

That would probably be the optimal mid with Saka on WC playing 352

Yea, Slot exposed. Managed to do well by inheriting Klopp's team. He then puts his stamp on the team and try's to buy the league, but its terrible.

And Slot's been critical of Etikike's fitness and out-of-possession work.

Looks like Klopp's tactics have finally been lost. The players are now following too closely Slot's trash management and coaching. Slot OUT.
