Sunday’s 16:30 GMT kick-off is set to be a big one for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers, with Gameweek 11’s most-captained player Erling Haaland in action against Liverpool.

TEAM NEWS

Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that started the 4-1 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

John Stones, Tijjani Reijnders and Savinho drop to the bench, with Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki coming into the starting XI.

Liverpool are unchanged from the midweek win over Real Madrid, which means Florian Wirtz keeps his place in front of Cody Gakpo.

Alexander Isak is named among the substitutes.

LINE-UPS

Manchester City XI: Donnarumma, Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly, Gonzalez, Bernardo, Foden, Cherki, Doku, Haaland

Subs: Trafford, Reijnders, Stones, Ake, Marmoush, Ait-Nouri, Savinho, Bobb, Lewis

Liverpool XI: Mamardashvili, Bradley, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Salah, Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Ekitike

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Endo, Kerkez, Isak, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Ngumoha

I capped Pedro too and think we should have been rewarded more for going against Haaland

GW13 does look good, i'm thinking GW12 load up on Chelsea, Liverpool, Crystal Palace. But Liverpool have been poor.

Smooth: getting away with captaining Mateta - that’s about as good as it gets.

Rough: Had Saka all week as captain and switched to Mateta last minute.

Same lol Saka didn't look great gw 9, 10 so went Mateta instead...

It could be worse. I switched from Saka to captaining Gabriel. Shame on me. Will be taking Sunderland more serious now. Wish I could have 6 defenders and add Ballard.

One of the more baffling things about this FPL season is that Salah is 6th in the midfield points table, despite looking pants all season.

Next baffling thing is, the likes of Cullen, Gravenberch and Xhaka are breathing down his neck.

Fairly easy to rack up decent points regardless of form when you have a contract clause guaranteeing 90 minutes in arguably the most attacking side in the league.

Roefs or Donna set and forget?

    1. The Big Fella
      • 9 Years
      8 months, 10 days ago

I got Roefs weeks ago and have been and continue to be very happy with him. However, I would recommend Donna for you because the fixtures for City will improve massively now and Sunderland’s are very comme çi comme ça. Another consideration is that most people won’t be wanting 3 City this year anyway because of Pep roulette so Donna doesn’t block anything. That said, if your funds don’t allow for Donna Roefs is an excellent pick.

I personally wouldn't pick any of those above N'Diaye, Sarr, Minteh or Rice, but Cherki is a fair punt.

Yes, always involved. Either trying to score, assist or pre-assist(not that this counts for FPL, but it means that he's usually around when there's goals).

      Considering him alongside Mbuemo.
